The 908 cam from the 97 works great in a 94 as an upgrade. You will need to use a Gen I timing chain set as the Gen II timing chain set is not compatible in a Gen I, unless you are utilizing AEM.
VEC2 and VEC3 piggybacks work great w/ Paxton Systems as does SCT tuning! The Split-Second piggyback works just fine w/ the Paxton fuel system and is very reliable.
