VCA back to the same old routine

What Randall said.... I would also agree with what many others have posted... The VCA has no hope... none, nada, zilch unless the Marshalls are fired immediately, and 100% without any golden parachute.... They are a huge reason for the mess the VCA finds themselves in and they must go...

VCA legal Counsel, Bill Corum has resigned

Clearly, there needs to be an investigation into what each of the people were up to. (The Marshall's, Bill, Lee, Board, etc...) No deals should be made.

My stab at being from Chicago is because it just seems like so many people come out of the same mold from that place. Look at the former Governor, look at the Daly's, look at Rahm, look at the President, etc... All corrupt to the core who project they are victims when they get caught in their...

Money corrupts and the people that began running the VCA wanted more and more of it so anyone that stands in their way gets banned. It started as people who loved cars wanting to help people who loved cars. Unfortunately, the current leadership are trying to make it their golden parachute...

    Who likes Stripes?

LOVE stripes. My white RT had blue stripes and my current red GTS came without stripes but I added them (vinyl). One day I might have them painted on/clearcoated over.

Water leaking into the rear hatch area

Thanks for the replies. I really don't think its' the glass seal since it seems to be in perfect condition. I will try the drain holes first.

Water leaking into the rear hatch area

If I wash my 97 GTS or (gads) get caught in a shower, I will find that the carpet in the rear hatch area wet. If I take the spare tire out, and lift the carpet there will be standing water underneath. I cannot figure where the water is coming from. Are the drain holes in the lid area of the...

    This should be fun

It was a very nice kit. I started the build thinking it would be a budget build, but as I progressed I thought it was too cool/nice to put cheap parts on it so I ended up with a full velocity stack system run by a Redline computer, PPG paint (blue/white/6 coats of clear), chrome this, chrome...

    This should be fun

Oh boy... years are appox in some cases and not necessarily in order but close (I've slept since then) 72 Ford Pinto - lean, green, not so mean machine... had to get out and turn the engine over by hand to start as the flywheel had a worn part. 76 Oldsmobile Starfire 1984 Dodge Laser Turbo -...

Are the Gen II's value a little too high??

I think that would be true IF the ACR actually was that different from a standard Viper. A lot of the cars that pull a huge premium are because the engine is different or there is a major difference in the "package". I just don't see the ACR as that much more desirable (and less desirable for...

Are the Gen II's value a little too high??

You'll find the prices in the classifieds here are considerably higher than street prices, (ie. Craigslist, local newspaper classifieds, Ebay, Autotrader, etc...) So that in itself is not indicative of market value.

Are the Gen II's value a little too high??

I agree. SRT convertibles are still very, very nice cars... didn't want to make it sound like they weren't.

Are the Gen II's value a little too high??

No one was comparing the desirability of the Gen III convertible to a C3. The comparison was simply relative to the model year diferences. In other words a non-chrome bumper C3 is the least desirable corvette and my opinion is the SRT convertible is the least desirable Viper. Not comparing...

Are the Gen II's value a little too high??

Comparing them to classic vettes, in my opinion, the Gen 3 convertibles will be the least desirable, similar to the 73-83 Corvettes. Currrent pricing is already reflective of that and will only get worse. Good thing for some folks because that is still a lot of car for the money. Gen II will...

Are the Gen II's value a little too high??

Give it a little more time and you will have Gen II prices double that of Gen III prices. You said it yourself that Gen III and beyond do not capture that Viper sex appeal that the Gen II unleashed on the world. That's enough said. Technology is not what makes a classic car a classic car...

Voi 11 Product Debuts For Those That Didnt Attend>>>

I just went looking for a new shift knob at the local auto parts store. They were all $20-25 but I think the red/white would fit my car better. What would the red/white striped one cost?

    Radiator Needed

OP: read my recent post. My brother and I are in the same boat. I went with Roe and it's installed, waiting to test. My brother just took his out and to a shop yesterday and waiting on word to determine a repair or rebuild or ? As for Dave, don't listen to the guy. He's trying to make...

    Alum radiator needed

Yep I too simply looked at the task at hand and realized that it would be much easier to remove the hood which was very easy to do. Didn't read the manual so don't know what it recommends. Glad I did

    Alum radiator needed

btw, I figured out what the deal is with the fan noise. The K&N carbon fiber box is a tight fit. Then when you add the slightly larger alum radiator, it pushes the air filter box down into the fan plastic fan housing which causes the fan to rub. I placed some spacers under the box to lift it...

    Alum radiator needed

Gee thanks for posting the pics after I tore mine apart in anger. :smirk: As for the monkey clamps, I replaced them all with real ones when I put it back together yesterday. :)
