Yes it does... and you might be surprised to know that most (US market) rear drive cars and trucks do as well. Normally to make room for steering columns...
There is a TSB out there to fix the issue you are having... the dealer can re-set the option on your car, and you will gain the DRL setting in the menus.
TSB 08-039-14
"The Personal Setting Menu Is Missing The DRL Enable/Disable Option"
The PCM is the "VIN Master" - The BCM reacts to the VIN being transmitted to determine whether it does the coupe window drop or the convertible window glass drop. But body styles have a drop, but the coupe needs greater retraction to clear the body. When you have a PCM with no VIN, the BCM...
My earlier post was about the Ball joint part number only... The 2002 parts guide is showing only full knuckle replacement as MoparOnlineParts mentioned. There may have been a design change that dictated a non serviceable joint?
Re: DV400069 Is home....
Yes that bag is the "RF_HUB" kit bag which when it arrives at the plant contains two fobs and the RFHUB module. (They are electronically paired). The second bag holds the key cylinder and the two mechanical key stubs for the trunk. The plant assembles, but leaves...
Re: DV400069 Is home....
I think (just a guess) that is the bag with your key numbers... in case you need to have a new mechanical key cut. At the plant is hold the two "stubs" that insert into the fobs before delivery.
You may want to dim the yellow traces on the lights... those are the front turn signals... the lowers are the white running lamps. And you can ditch the fog lamps as you are only allowed four front facing white lamps on by federal law. Probably the reason there are none on the new car...
P2610 is "Engine Off Timer"
It sets when the battery is disconnected as the internal timer which is used for emmissions work loses track of time. It will de-mature on it's own after several normal trips. Nothing to worry about if you've recently had a dead battery, or had the battery...
Yes, that would be long enough to reset pretty much everything.
The windows are controlled by the BCM (Body Control Module) not the PCM (Powertrain Control Module).
You have to pull the dash trim off, and probably the steering column shroud, and then you can remove the cluster. The cluster lamps can then be swapped out easily.
The Dodge Ram will do this as well... especially with the Cummins! And it will go a step further and can do a no fuel pedal burnout... Yes, first gear, let clutch engage, slowly step down on the brake... the engine will hold 700rpm and the rear wheels will do the worlds slowest burnout...
In full race trim Vipers have ALREADY beaten this time... the ol' GTS-Rs were lapping the N-Ring in the 6:40's back while they were ruling the FIA world. So yes, full race trim makes a BIG DIFFERENCE. Even an ACR-X will have a hard time beating those old times.
I re-read your comment... if the volume know won't move off of mute or 1 then it's inside the head unit. the knob encoder is out of commission... you could probably open it up and fix it yourself if you are skilful...
Or just get a fresh head unit (or an aftermarket one you like better)...
The three key flip works fine on an 06... be patient as it may take a few trys.
From key "off"... go to on... got to off.... go to on... got to off.... got to on and keep it on. This process should take less than three seconds, but probably more than 2... so say the words "key on" "key...
Is the amplifier under the passenger seat getting power?
Pins 7 and 14 on the amp should both be getting 12V, and pin 6 is the 12V switch on from the head unit.
The amp is on a 20A fuse in the PDC, I think it is separate from the Radio/headunit fuse.
Typically with multiple battery disconnects, you will mature a P2610 - Engine Off Timer fault...
No power = No Timer
The fault will demature (go out) after two trips.
It also takes two events to make it set in the first place, but multiiple battery disconnects will make it set.
Time for a Mopar controller... that'll fix it... the stock computer can tell if cats other than production are in use.
"High flow" cats are pretty useless and the stock computer will detect that out on the freeway under steady state conditions.
