I forgot to mention – the receipient got the money in Floryda. So, it’s Virginia to Floryda transaction. The police are working on the case but do not give any hope. I would like to go after WU for not issuing a warning. I hope the police can get a tape with recorded conversation.
Any advice???
I am sick and tired about Western Union involved in scams against Viper owners and others. There were a number of posts, mainly warnings on our site.
But, guess – my young son did not know about these scams. He bought outside eBay, transferred $1010 through Western Union and got nothing...
I think the red one is much better. Black color has lots of problems such (my point of view) and does not look aggressive enough on a Viper.
Something is wrong with this $11k price - a very suspicious deal - salvage title??? or stability problems at speed??? Who knows. Do not touch it unless u...
I've done my AC repair this month at Jerry's Dodge in Springfield, VA. Ask for Jeff. I talked to him for some time and like him. I saw another Viper under his care as well.
This is strange. Who does it? - travels with >$20k and pays for a car this way. There are financial institutions to carry transactions in a convenient and safe way.
Re: Whats some funny comments you\'ve heard from passengers in your Viper?
A 21yo model girl from London, UK - "I have to change my boyfriend to one with a Viper" :2tu:
We need to appeal to “greens” to introduce a nationwide law – no front tags. Just look at savings: millions $, tons of aluminum, barrels of oil and energy in manufacturing, transportation and storage costs, AND above all, bird lives (cause turbines kill them), etc…..
Let’s do it !!!
Front tags...
I will buy - if string bikini.
If you want to sell in larger numbers - have topless models in poses that do not reveal too much. Less clothes is better.
Posters should be extras to the magazine. 24x36 is probably standard. They should be available to the general public as well. This could provide some funds to the Magazine.
Great. It’s getting much better.
Fantastic picture in the middle. I think, I will take it out and frame it.
Please, keep going and make it monthly. But, right - we have to contribute more.
Sorry, you mean … smiling Toyota??? How could they produce a smiling muscular American car… I don’t get it. I love Viper for the look, brute force and crazy rush I always get. Second place takes C5.
Re: Blue book vs asking price vs final sales price
My friend, involved in import/export of collectible cars, says that in a couple of years my GTS is going to be a collectible. Hmmmm… interesting… Do you think that this could be true?
Previous owner used a mechanical device – you can see it all over after a good wash. After waxing swirls are hidden but never enough. Even when using hand waxing I caught myself on creating new swirls.
I am not bashing – uh… people are so sensitive these days. What I am saying is that you need...
Over the years, I read many posts on waxing and swirl marks removal. My Viper, when I bought it as a used one, had many of them. I followed an advice on the forum, and used Zaino / 3M to hide them. All waxing done by hand. I have never used any mechanical device. And guess what – I got more and...
Re: Motor Trend isn\'t very hot about the new Viper
People at MotorTrend never liked Vipers. I checked several years of my subscription. They pretend Vipers do not exist – very few short editorials. On the other hand, they were always very enthusiastic about every Vette.
Very similar happened to me in Northern VA (I-66). Someone called from the road and reported reckless driving by a red Viper (no tag number). I take gas on the way and a cap stops by, after a while asks for papers etc. Tells me about reckless driving – I got furious and ask for info on a person...
