That car was for sale on the Orange county Craigslist back in April, before I bought my car. The (private party) owner was asking 42 or 43k IIRC.
Must have sold it to a dealer trying to make a few $$.
:)
It can have had several accidents, but still have a clean title. As long none of them were bad enough to warrant "salvage" or "rebuilt" status on the title. I've seen cars with 3-4 accidents and a clean title. We took in a truck with three hits just last week.
:)
Caveat Emptor.
My first '01 put down 432 rwhp with no cats or mufflers(loud, yes!), stock headers, tubes/filters, pullies, and a re-flashed PCM. I'd say 450-455 rwhp with those mods and a good tune.
:)
Thanks guys, I plan on new tires within the next few weeks, I bought it with only 6900 miles, but the original tires are indeed there. The previous owner had replaced the cats with Roe high flows, smooth tubes and filters, so that's a few less things to do. Tires and the stereo are the next...
I love my Passport 9500, the range is superb, and the GPS function to store known false alarms and speed traps means that when it beeps, you better slow it down.
:)
^^^^ What they said. I've seen Tony's cars on LS1 tech, nice rides. I've owned 3 C6's with bolt ons that ran fast, but I'm back here now awaiting shipment of another Viper.
It's a Viper thing.
:)
I agree that SRT needs to put the $$ where it counts, there's enough press and pent up demand for...
I've also had good results over the years with touch up paint, but by using an inexpensive fine tipped brush from a hobby store. Much better control of the paint for small spots like you posted, instead of the crappy tip that's inside the bottle.
I've been away for too long, driving Vette's and even a Raptor for a while, but I couldn't shake the Viper bug.
:)
I put a deposit on very low mile Sapphire Blue 2001 RT/10, and didn't know if anyone was in the area to look at it Monday or Tuesday?
Thanks in advance, I know it's been waaaaayy to...

Lee's right, especially on the car with the mileage issue. A title listed TMU, or true mileage unkonwn is equal to a salvage title. I won an ebay auction a few weeks ago for what appeared to be a clean, average mile graphite 02 RT 10. Upon arrival, the car smelled so musty, I started pulling...
Welcome aboard. These are indeed a good group of guys. I'm in the process of getting an 02 from another Florida dealer, and it seems to have a few issues as well.
Sigh...
