Check the timing cover first!!!!!!!!!! It has been a while since I posted here. About one year ago the same thing happened to me. I was about to change the head gaskets and have the heads ground down. Let me tell you......check the timing cover gasket FIRST!!!!. I posted a step by step and...
You just need to find one that is quieter. KepRght suggested the 50mm Tial. This one is awesome and is not very loud. What ever you do, do not buy the RFL. I had one of these on a Syclone. It actually stands for (Real Fu--ing Loud). Some people, including myself, love that sound.
Approximate cost to replace the driver's side window motor?
Is there an alternate part? For example the Caravan's rear wiper motor is interchangeable with the Viper's windshield wiper motors.
Thanks!
Wow!!! That is an awesome time. If that car is set up for running an 1/8 of a mile, (as in huge gears) it may not be as great of a 1/4 mile runner. I have heard some people say that a close guess is 1/8 mile time plus 60% of the same time. That would mean that this is a sub 8 second car!
Thanks for the replies.
Viper John- I was trying to get rid of it a while back. If you recall my wife became ill and I was going to sell it due to all of the medical expenses. Thank God that she is doing much better. The medical expenses are still there but are manageable.

I wonder what it would take for me to be able to raffle off my car?
I would be willing to settle for a set amount...say $50K.
If ther were any ticket sales over that amount I would donate the money to a charity of the VCA's members choice. So my question is would I need to set up an escrow...

I am trying to decide which tire I want to use on my car. I was pretty convinced that I wanted the Khumo until several people said that it just looks ugly against the rim. Could someone post pictures of the Khumo, BF Goodrich, Michellin, and maybe the Pirelli? Thanks.
Re: I\'m building a new garage need somes ideas. Lets see your viper garage

There is a muffler shop near Dallas that takes sound clips of all of the installs that they do. They have done several vipers and have sound clips of many different systems such as Borla, Corsa, and even a custom built one. They also have some where they have only deleted the rear muffler and...
I am unable to do a search for some reason.
What parts need to come off in order to change the timing cover gasket?
I have the alluminum bracket, water pump, air filter housing, and hoses off allready.
What special tools do I need?
Thanks
Does anyone have a good picture or possibly the workshop manual print for the vacuum lines on a gen 2 ?
I did take some pictures before I did the work but one is not very clear.
Thanks.
Chuck.....are you suggesting a little "spirited" driving perhaps????:)
I checked all of the vacuum lines and it seems that they are all in place.
The plugs and injector cables are correct as well.
Gonna go out for a little ride now. I will keep you posted.
Also, please let me know if maybe...
