I have a set on my RT/10 after I bald spotted my PS2's to avoid crushing a squirrel. Happy I made the swich and saved over $1000 off the PS2's with little difference on the street. No difference for noise and no difference for traction on regular streets. Would buy again.
Update just in case anyone is interested: I've had the BFG KDW's on the car for a few weeks and I must say that I don't feel much difference from the PS2's for regular street and highway driving here in Florida.
I've had the top off the whole time because of the great weather lately, so I...
Just got a new set of 4 BFG's last week after burning 2 bald patches on the fronts of my PS2's. So far, they seem to be very comperable with my PS2's at about 1/2 the price. (I got them from viperpartsofamerica.com for $950 all-incl DELIVERED.) The Ride is about the same, no real difference...
The tread pattern certainly looks pretty nice...
Anyone in the market for my 2 used rear 335-30-18 PS2's with about 5mm left on them? (I think 8mm was new.)
Driven on the street like an old lady and Never raced.
Send me a message if interested.
Thanks for all your help and advice. I have decided to try something new and ordered a new full set of the BF Goodrich KDW's from Viper Parts of America for $950 incl free shipping. Better to be safe than sorry.
I hope I just didn't sacrifice ride and handling too much...
What do you think of these as an viable option? They seem like they might fit the bill.

Follow up. I measured my tires yesterday. Here's what I found:
LF/RF: 5mm, 3mm at flat spot
LR/RR: 5mm
(all measure even across the whole tire)
It's amazing that 2mm would make such a huge difference at low speeds...
I couldn't find anyone in South Florida to shave tires, but even if I...
I currently have approx 1 year old PS2's with about 4-5000 miles on them. I haven't measured the tread depth yet, but will do so when I get home and get back to you.
I'm not quite sure if it is really a complete "BALD" spot, but I am definately feeling it at low speeds. The skid was about...
So I locked up my brakes to avoid mowing down a squirrel crossing the street and I consequently burned a bald spot in my front tires.
Is there any way to avoid buying a new pair? Need some expert advice!
Thanks in advance.
