falcon, I'm not familiar with the Gen 5, but the drone is a characteristic of the Viper Engine and is an engineering problem. IMHO I would doubt any slight mod to the exhaust will help. it seems like the drone bothers some people and not others. not sure exactly why. I personally did not care...
Thanks 05,
That seems a bit high for cruising at highway speeds. I just did some quick math on the Z06 and at 70mph it would be about 1500 rpm which seems about right.
I heard the 2015 gears will changes slightly, anyone know how much? I don't track my cars so the top-speed 6th gear is not...
Just wondering what does the Gen V Rev at when doing 70 MPH in 6th gear.
I remember how long the 6th gear was in my 2006 Coupe which revved at about 1400 or so at about 70 for highway cruising and always thought it was too long a gear.

Thanks

The boards are filled with cold weather...
Here is my list:
1)Price(I know, not supposed to say this.. but); Fully loaded GTS no more than $125K, nicely optioned SRT $95K, car is miss-priced.
2)All Aluminum frame - The vette did it for a $60K car
3)700 Normally aspirated HP
4)Bring the front fog lights back
5)Gear it right
6)Fix the...
