Thanks for info !!! When you say 'cut black rubber plug'...is that for the fog lights or for the low beams ?? I'm just doing the low beams, I replaced the fog lights with Gen III's :2tu:- X vetter

Hey... a weekly cruise around the neighborhood, hmmmm I've known the guy with the b/w for a while now, and believe it or not I had to tell him about this forum....I just saw the RT10 the other day moving in...good looking car, it had chrome 3 spokes...maybe he/she is a member here ??? :2tu:- X vetter

I live in a pretty small subdivison (about 75 homes) and I was the 2nd to build & move in. About 6-9 mos after me a guy with a '96 b/w moves in down the street, now I just found out a black '94 or '95 RT 10 has just moved in....I think I have the start of a SW FL VCA sub-chapter in my own...- X vetter

The aluminum radiator and the 175 degree thermostat will definitely make your cooling system more efficient...but to cool the cabin you really have to replace the cats w/ high flow units, made a considerable difference in mine w/o any additional insulation.- X vetter

Water/meth injection...
How do you test a water/meth injection setup to make sure it is working ??? While driving home today I ran through 1 & 2 gears aggresively :drive: and heard pinging... I'm running a 8 lb pulley w/Vec2 and the tune is by Sean...same gas as always, and yes there is methanol in the tank...any...- X vetter

Roe Supercharger Installation
Great choice, you will love the instant snap the Roe provides... BTW, read the directions very carefully about the VEC and the wiring, easy to miss the crank trigger wire... Good Luck :2tu:- X vetter

P/S pulley battle...help
Update... The power steering puller/installer WORKS !!! Less than 5 minutes. Although Autozone makes you buy the tool kit, you only have to return it to get your money back ($42.50). The gear puller I was using is no match for the correct p/s puller. Still the whole thing is a PITA, but...- X vetter

I'm also down to just the metal collar...this thing is absolutely fused to the shaft... A1998, I was thinking the same thing about using a dremel tool, just was praying someone had an easier method... Thanks for the replys- X vetter

Ok, saw a little crack in the p/s pulley so time to replace. Are there any tips or tricks to gettin' this thing off ?? I've been at it with a gear puller and I just keep breaking off little bits of pulley :evilmad: :confused: . This thing has not moved at all...any suggestions definitely...- X vetter

Sold the c6z, kept the Viper!
Not for nothing, but in 2001 the C5 Z06 had 385 hp, and more importantly had the dreaded high oil consumption issue. This was because GM changed the metal composition in the piston rings and that resulted in excessive oil consumption in high rpm light load situations. I've seen our service...- X vetter
