    Strange front-end noise '05, 18k mls, "vrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"...

    Best I can describe it, you can hear it clearly when reving the engine. Must be a spinning mechanism. a belt, clutch? Sounds just like that --- vrrrrrrr, vrrrrr, pretty loud. Will call for appt tomorrow but would love to hear any ideas.

    Ok to put the Vipe up on jack stands while wheels get powdered?

    Is it OK to lift the Viper up on jack stands for about a week? -I wont damage the suspensing, left hanging, right? -Is there any lift/jack insertion order? Not sure if I should do one side then the other? -Sears stands ok? Thanks in advance :)

    Ugh..... beware of new road fix!

    I finally saw the truck that spray dumps this tar/rock mix... the idea is that the cars flatten it and fill the hole or crack. Problem is that all the cars are getting sprayed with gravel over these things. I even had gravel shoot onto my dash when a car passed me through this muck. Bad idea...

    Snake gone into hybernation :)

    It's been so cold this year I could not close my top latch - that is a first. Finally, after some warm-er weather this weekend (with the help of my wife) I was able to stretch and close the top, wash the car, get the charger setup, and sleep it. LOL See you in the Spring! :smirk:
