    Really sad day

Well, next Saturday I have to make a large sacrifice and sell my 1994 Viper. Too many new bills and too many small children to have enough fun anyway. Got a fairly decent price for her (about 1k less than what I paid almost 2 years ago.) Strange thing is that this is going to Estonia. I can...

What other repairs would you recommend?

Good ideas. Because it is so hot in Florida, I have been thinking of putting a lower temp thermostat. I will have to do a search about a 998/999 recall to see if that applies. As for Mike at Ulms Dodge, he is the one who changed my fluids out, hmmmmm. I think I'll call Larry.

What other repairs would you recommend?

I have only been in there twice and can't remember his name at the moment, but it is at Jerry Ulm's Dodge on Dale Mabry Hwy.

What other repairs would you recommend?

The drive belt is a great idea. I changed all fluids and tires about 6k ago. When does the clutch usually need work on the gen I's. Anybody have any positives or negatives about Macedo's shop/ Should I just get this done with my Viper tech at my local Dodge dealer?

What other repairs would you recommend?

I have a 94RT with 25k miles. Never had the new head gaskets. No problems so far but I do not want to wait for them. Was thinking about having the gaskets changed, maybe by Macedo in Orlando. What other things would you have done at the same time. I am looking for reasonably affordable...

Anyone here in the Stucco business?

That is because humidity and termites here rot wood in no time. Cinderblock and stucco is also more energy efficient in this environment. But I agree - I do miss the homes of New England.

Ya can't even sell something in the VCA classifieds without a SCAM

Re: Ya can\'t even sell something in the VCA classifieds without a SCAM I think you are on to something. It might be quite a deterrent if they were lead on every time they tried to scam a VCA member. They would deem it too much work for the one person who might be suckered if they had to mail...

Who can I trust? Rear Frame recall, near Tampa FL???

Dave, I have been to Jerry Ulm a few times over the last year with my 94RT. I have not had major work done, just changing all the fluids, tune-up, adjusting throttle bodies, etc. They charge like a dealer (I was able to get them to come down significantly on tires when I showed them prices...

    ANOTHER VIPER HATE ATTACK

Bleeding heart liberal? Have no doubt, I would have been enraged and thrown every bit of my 6'4" 235lbs on anyone I caught in the act. It is difficult to take oneself back, however, and realize that in the end they lost something more valuable. They still deserve yo be punished.

    ANOTHER VIPER HATE ATTACK

I know how you feel. I have 2 key attacks. a 2 incher on the drivers door and a 4 incher on the front hood. i have touched up both myself becasue I just can't justify a couple grand to repaint the entire hood and door. But it does make me wince a bit when I see them up close. Mostly, I feel...

    Tiny radiating cracks

Lots of sun on my dash, and not a crack near those areas (you got me paranoid so I ran out and checked). Sorry to hear it. If it happened to me here in Tampa, I would go to Gene Perez and see what fix he recommended.

    Wheel Repair In New York

Re: Wheel Repair In Tampa Glad to hear it turned out well. I am a little bit late on this thread, but in case someone in Florida accesses this at a later date - I highly recommend Glenn's Wheel Polishing in Tampa. He came with high recs and I went to him after a combined wheel rash and full...

    Interior disassembly help, GEN I

PM me with a price for your other dash. I am trying to decide whether to do a stirp and paint of my current dash, or to keep it stock and strip and paint another in case I like the stock look. Yours looks good. Who did the paint job?

    Ceramic Side sills

Okay, maybe a couple mm, certainly a white powder. I did not know how deep this ultimately went, as I did not venture further. I was unsure if this is something I could have a good body shop take care of, or if it required a specialty shop.

    Ceramic Side sills

True enough, a rookie I am. But I'll have to check it again. I am pretty good at touch-ups on minor paint scratches and dings. Where the sidesills have the scalloping is where I encountered some powdering/flaking that went a few millimeters deep (startled, of course, I quickly stopped). I do...

    Ceramic Side sills

What are the repair options for the small crumbled nicks in the ceramic side-sills? I tried a search but did not find much. Who/where have people gone and what is the general cost. Can these be filled and painted by a good body shop? Thanks.

    Coolant and purging air (again)

Is that it, seems way too simple. I guess there is no need to jack the front or run the car, since the pump pressurizes the air to the leak valve you describe. Does anyone else do it this way?
