Hey Doc,
The dealership I got my Viper at would not allow test drives. I practically had to get my credit checked just to be able to sit in it on the show room floor. Anyhow, I traded in my '04 BMW M3 and went home in a brand spanking new Viper. During my 25 minute ride home I felt...
Larry Macedo personally installed the Corsa Track exhaust on my Viper last year. He did an outstanding job and at a very reasonable price. It's only 90 minutes from Tampa to Orlando. Have Larry install it for you - you won't regret it.
Here in Orlando I've seen people pulled over by cops in the following:
Blue Chevy Silverado SS pick up truck (tinted windows)
White Dodge Caravan (tinted windows)
Black Ford Mustang (tinted windows)
Silver Volvo S60 (no tint)
Since I haven't been pulled over, yet, do these "undercover" cops...
Yes, when you turn the fan on (without the AC) it picks up the engine heat. Since you like riding with the windows down - just turn the fan completely off.
In my case, the Corsa Track exhaust helped reduce the interior heat significantly (since the crossovers are eliminated).
The first...
I'm in Central Florida (Orlando) and have the Corsa Track exhaust. If you're ever around this neck of the woods I'd me more than happy to take you for a ride so that you could hear it. Also, on May 27th there will be a VCA Central & Northern Florida Viper Car Show at the Race Rock...
I don't have to drive to work (I work out of my home) but take the Viper out daily. If I'm stressed out or upset with someone at the corporate office I jump in the Viper and go for a nice long ride - then return with a big smile (and on a few occasions to change my underwear). I do, however...
Re: Who\'s the BADDEST builder !!!
Here in Florida there are three: Doug Levin Motorsports, Heffner, and Macedo Motorsports. Personally I've only dealt with Macedo (as his shop is located in Orlando) and his work was/is outstanding. I've also heard nothing but good things about Doug Levin...
Don't open the thread if you're not interested in its content. Ranger is providing those of us that ARE interested with real world info on the new Z06 (and being very courteous about it despite replies like the one quoted).
BLUESNAKE367,
Thanks for the update on Tony. I picked my Viper up in May 2005 at Central Florida Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep. It was sitting in the showroom next to a Copperhead.
Thanks. :2tu:
I couldn't find you in the "User List". I would like to be listed as a "Viper Owner". Please PM me so that I can send you my VIN number.
Thanks in advance.
Doesn't matter if you're a big boy, a karate expert, a golden gloves champion or a mercenary. In Florida you can blow a guy's brains out if you feel that your life is in danger or if you feel threatened.
Mike did the right thing. However, I would have pressed charges (had it been me with my...
Thanks for all of the replies - obviously you all know what you're talking about.
However, some didn't understand or I wasn't able to explain myself correctly on what took place. This is a two lane highway in which I was in the left lane and the Durango was in the right lane (both going in the...
Last night around 7:30 p.m. I was on my way home on Highway 528 East (returning from the movie theater) with my nine-year-old son. I was doing around 75 mph in the left hand lane and quickly came up on a brand new Dodge Durango that was in the right hand lane. The idiot crossed over into my...
LOL. Proof that anal cavities have Vipers too. Amazing how some people take the time to reply to posts that don't interest them just to get a swipe in or try to offend someone they don't even know.
"People that have stupid brains" (LOL). This cracks me up, though. I'm gonna have to use it...
Looks like a better option than the icruze. Price is $199.99. And since you are already at Circuit City you can also have the Polk Audio DB650 speakers installed at the same time.

Is it really worth it? The stereo system on the Gen III sounds so crappy that it's hard to believe that two small speakers would really make a difference.
The other day my wife and I went for a ride with the top down. After a short while my wife asked me to turn the radio off because it...
Incredible, isn't it? Here in Orlando it was sunny and not a cloud in the sky (after the storm). Had to take my baby out for a ride with the top down, once the streets dried off, to see what it felt like to ride in 63º weather. Even had a little fun with a 350Z that tried to get ignorant.
Mine was installed this past Wednesday at Macedo Motorsports (Larry Macedo installed it himself). I'm lovin' it. I am currently out of the country and can't wait to get back home to ride my baby (and maybe the wife too). :D
