    replacing ac condenser?

Hey John, did you ever get resolution on your issue? I have an 01 that has lost all of its charge as well. I refilled it last year after replacing the Schrader valve and oring in the valve cap, but the charge leaked out again, so I am thinking I need a new condenser.

    Clutch Issue with 2001 GTS

Just circling back to let people know what the fix was. There was some fluid underneath the car, right below where the ***** cylinder is. The reservoir was empty, so sure enough the ***** cylinder had begun to leak. I got a replacement throw out / ***** cylinder from Roe and that fixed it...

    Clutch Issue with 2001 GTS

Was pulling the car out of the garage a few days ago. Pushed in clutch, started car, put shifter in reverse and let out on clutch. Normal let out on clutch, pulled out of garage slowly, but then pushed in on clutch and nothing happened. Still headed right for my other car! Yanked it out...

    Viper pricing

I think you are misinterpreting the actions of most Gen 2 owners. I bought my 2001 Gen 2 GTS Viper used in 2005. I could have bought a Gen 3 for less, but I liked the Gen 2 better, so I paid more for what I wanted. Most Viper owners do not buy the car as a daily driver. They have enough...

    Anyone gone down this road?

Have you burped it correctly? My guess is you have air in the cooling system. See: http://forums.viperclub.org/rt-10-gts-discussions/619276-help-radiator-drain-refill-proceedure.html

    Hi-Flo cats for SC viper?

I've got an 01 Roe SC car as well. I put the RT high flow cats in even before the SC. Zero problems with the RT cats. The MUCH lower side sill temperatures is a big big plus. No more burning your leg getting out of the car. Sounds better as well. High flow cats should be one of your first...

Easiest way to get water pump pulley off?

Thanks for the invitation Steve. The car is still up on jack stands pending some minor mods (that hopefully will be completed this weekend). Of course, I have a 3 year old boy who might derail my plans at any moment! Please keep me in mind for your next meeting!

    Oil Pan Drain Plug Gasket

The dealer wanted $20 for the o-ring / aluminum washer / gasket. I checked out Earl's Stat-o-Seal PN 178008ERL and it appears to be absolutely identical. Got it at Summit for $7.95 for package of 2.

Easiest way to get water pump pulley off?

Not that I know of. I got a good deal on a set of new polished billet pulleys to replace most of the stock ones. Pretty much just eye candy, but they are 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum.

Easiest way to get water pump pulley off?

Bought an aftermarket billet pulley for the water pump. Seems that you can't get the OEM pulley off without pulling the water pump, or removing the aluminum brace? Anyone got any other ideas?
