Honestly, I have no desire to drive any of the cars they have listed other than the Gallardo Spyder and even then I have a problem with the E-gear. Maybe I'm just white trash at heart but automatics and paddle shift just don't excite me no matter how much the car costs.
BTW Paul, I was the guy...
OK price, it went for 44.5 - I would have liked more but the market is what the market is.
I think I will stay out of the sports car market for a little while, I just don't have the time right now but sooner or later I will be back in something fun.
I think I will just let it ride out. The problem is I really hate this process, I am not the car salesman type or a salesman type at all. There is some live money already as someone did bid 40k.
So the car will go in 9 days, we'll just have to see what the current market brings.
I guess, but to me it is obvious that the consignment shop wants to tack an additional 2-3k on top and you would get a much better deal talking to the owner.
Oh well.
I have a question, if you saw the car on a Viper site being sold by the owner why would you contact the consignment shop that also has it listed for about 5k more???
Wouldn't you just contact me?
Thanks for the feedback. The picture size soley reflects my lack of programming abilities as it looked fine on my work computer, but now that I am on my home computer I see what you mean and I think I fixed it.
I also removed my e-mail address, while I thought I was being helpful I guess it is...
It's time to see what the market says about my SRT.
2004 Black SRT with 9300 miles. 40k starting bid, no reserve.
eBay Motors: Dodge : Viper (item 300261473557 end time Oct-04-08 14:36:32 PDT)
BTW it's also in the classifieds if anyone is interested.
ViperClub Classifieds - Black 2004...
The HP numbers were on the Arrow engine dyno, so they are crank.
The crank damper came loose on the engine (not the recall issue) and pretty much drove number 8 down through the block. This happened at about 6k miles.
OK, so it seems to be that time. I just don't drive the car any more, it just sits in the garage and don't really want to deal with a drawn out sale process (and we all know the market is horrible right now but please don't low ball me, I'm not that desperate and the car really is in great...
What are you going to do with the car? It will be quite some time, but probably never, before the SRT becomes a collector car.
If you are going to drive it I would look for a 5000 mile 04-05, you will get a much better price and won't have to worry about the things that go wrong when a car...
Just to echo Carl's sentiments, I had this very same car out 30 minutes prior and make no mistake this is not a Gen 3.5, it is a Gen 4.
Dodge did a great job and my car, with bolt-ons, felt very sluggish after driving the 08. This car will be the next open track weapon of choice for...
Yeah, doctors treat their cars really well.
(8000 miles, on my second motor and third set of brake pads, car gets washed less often than it goes to the track, original clutch - I did some drifting on the way to work this morning)
