JEEZ! That Supra was smooookin' !!:D
Jamie, congrats bro! Amazing time for a stocker, that should hurt a few ZR1 ego's:D
BTW, are you the guy with the blue C6 Z06 that was running with us at the MIR 'mini rental' ealier in the month? If so, I'm the guy...
There's ONE mod you didn't state which is leaving a SUBSTANTIAL amount of HP on the table which the Z06 heads can't gain (as much*)...and thats sending your heads out to have them port and polish. I'd go Greg Good, but many others can do your heads boosting RWHP by as much as 70RWHP by that mod...
The only conflicts come from ignorance and nutswinger's personal regrets of not going your revolutionary route. Not to mention, many of these sites beloved 'sponsors' don't like the idea of a 'new F/I solution' which outperforms their product from a cost-to-power perpective.
Anyhow, these...
Please PM me some details of your system. VEC II tuning? What turbo are you running out back? Intercooled? Scan both pump gas and race gas dyno sheets and pics please! :D What PSI? Details, details, details... ;)
I agree completely. My 97 sits over a month at a time with NO issues whatsoever. Vipers are not hard on batteries at all IMO. I've never had to replace my OEM battery yet! (I do leave the car unlocked/security off while it sits in the garage thou, don't want to leave the security on for 4 weeks...
If your looking to go with the twin T66 side mount set-up from CPE go with 9.0CR...you'll safely run 15psi and make ~1000RWHP on pump gas...
If you went with a more radical turbo set-up and were looking for record boost numbers (i.e. 20PSI on pump and 30+PSI on race...then 8.5CR)
If you're...
3000lbs even at 650HP ? I'll have to see THAT to believe it for one, and secondly, MOPAR will provide a basic factory power package worth another 75HP.
It'll be great to see these two go at it on a good, respresentative race course... ;)
97' B/W GTS's brings the most money, I'd say close to $50K if your example was near mint with no stories...however, becuase of the documented damage...~$44K.
:2tu: Way to go Chrysler !!!! :2tu:
...they knocked it out of the ball park with this one, and with the extra 75HP factory power option (which we should certainly see availble in the future*) it will straight up be an easy "world beater!" ;)
Please thoroughly document your dyno session for us with pics, details and a video if possible. Dying to hear more about your new PCE kit...it looks absolutely gorgeous so far! ;)
Is this his base kit, only with a front mount option instead of the twin sidemounts? What turbo's size/trim are...
Don't go by what Edelbrock says for those heavy duty metal/copper units you just got from cometic...they're a whole different animal than the cheap paper gaskets you have to torque perfectly. With the copper one's just torque those suckers down! And no, no additional sealant needed. I torqued my...
They originally engineered the cut for the Edelbrocks from the templates I sent them becuase of my issue....so u guys can thank me later! :D :usa:
