Well I hit my right front rim ona low curb today that I didn't even see. Not too bad but I scraped about an inch off the upper lip. I'd like to get it fixed and was wondering if any one has experience with any shops that can fix this and an approximate price. I'm willing to send it any where to...
Any one have any experience with an oil extraction pump? AutoSport sells one that you put down the dipstick hole into the crank case and pump out the old oil into a reservoir. Supposedly this is the way Mercedes Benze techs are trained to change oil. Thanks for any input.
Ok guys, I have used a lot of different waxes over the years and honestly I find that Zymol does the best job for me. I have a little trick that I was wondering if any any else uses. I have a spray bottle full of water and I use it to dampen the applicator pad before I put wax on it. Not much...
I usually go with Mobile 1 for all my cars. Just got off the phone with a speed shop down the road who says they use Amsoil oils and filters. The weight is 0-30 and he says it costs about $10 per quart, so with the filter that puts me at about $200 for an oil change, depending on whether it's 8...
I am not sure about the gaps, but I find it very hard to beleave you can twist your frame from going in and out of your drive way no matter what the angle. Some of the more knowledgable guys may chime in on this but it sounds like a body shop error to me.
I bought my 94 last summer with 2900 on the OD. Car had AutoForm top and Windows, owners manual with all documentation and was flawless. It was also a Hennessey 500 edition, if that really matters. I paid 40K for it and love it. The top never goes on as it never sees bad weather and man is it a...
Re: Perception Vipers can\'t corner
I drive a Gen1 and love it. Yes, it is a handful and you really should have some track/instruction time if you're going to push an older Viper. But to say the car does not handle is just silly-that's coming from people who do not know how to drive and/or...
Yup, bought mine from Premier Autos in MO. Absolutely perfect when it rolled out of the trailer. I have another car ordered from them and when they find what I want I'll wire them the money and have them ship it to me again-sight unseen.
I agree that if you buy a car from a dealer you WILL pay more. However, in my experience it is usually worth it-unless you're getting flat out robbed. I would say up to 5K on a Viper is good. Remember you can usually negotiate a fair amount with them and a lot of the time they will provide you...
Thanks a lot for all the input guys. HAs any one ever considered using a glazed ceramic tile? I would think it would be the easiest to clean but am worried that you would really have to seal the grout or it would stain. I have used silicone instead of grout on some wall applications but not sure...
