    If your car is running hot you definitely need to remove the cross over pipe and have your computer reflashed by DC Performance. They lower your coolant temp to about 180. Makes a big difference. Plus you will not reach the temps that cause your car to retard your timing thus slowing you down.

    I'm 6'3" and 195 and I fit fine. I even pull the pedals up an inch for better shifting. The only time I have issues is with a helmet.

    Capital has terrible prep. It's hard to remember any sort of traction at Capital. MIR is the best at least at private rentals but I am sure they are good most of the time and the facility is very nice and clean. :drive:

    Thanks. It was Monday 12/7. There were actually two private rentals going on at the same time. One in each lane. I do not know about Capital but I would be surprised if you could not do a private rental now. Most want the $$.

    Thanks. Ranger picked a great day to set up the rental. It was cold and the track was sticky. If my trans hadn't started to act up I think I could have even done better. I hit a 1.7 60 ft time but 3rd gear would not cooperate.

    On Monday I attended a private track rental. I hit a personal record of 11.426 @ 120.02. I hit a 1.729 60 ft time with the stock runflats. I still think 11.2s are possible. Can't wait for springtime.

    Mine still hangs for a few seconds & I have over a 1000 miles on it. I wish I had the original cleaned up instead. I ended up taking it off. For the $300 plus I paid for the Xmetal, i do not think I would do it again.

    Capital Raceway sucks when it comes to traction. MIR is the only place in the area that knows how to prep a track. A private track rental at MIR is the only way to go.
