    1993 Viper Dash

Any time you mess with originality, you will devalue it slightly. On the other hand, you have some miles on yours. Things like separation cracks on the hood, I would NEVER touch. That is part of the story for early original Gen1's. For my '95, it was just getting to the point of...

    1993 Viper Dash

Also, this is not a hard job. I am no mechanic but found it to be pretty easy. Its probably best as a winter project. I have a bunch of pics I can send you of when I did mine back in 08.

    Ignition trouble, help!

Fixed! I guess if your name is Steve, you know your sh!t. Steve Indy got on the phone with me immediately and solved this issue. I guess in the early vipers, if the voltage gets too low, it can mess with the car alarm and turn it on. The alarm system was killing fuel and spark after 2...

    Ignition trouble, help!

Just replaced the battery on my 1995 RT10. Died over the winter. Go to turn over the engine and it starts for 3 seconds and shuts down. Trying certain things but had done this about a dozen times and all I get is 3 seconds. No pops, bucking, sputtering, etc. Sounds normal only it dies at 3...

    WANTED: 1ST GEN RT10

James, if it is super clean you should buy it and flip it. Those are strong 35k. No Gen1's had ABS.

    Been away for a while...

Thank you Mopar. I think a lot of old stuff was deleted. I did the same search as you and a lot of stuff comes up but each hit is a post or a thread. So, there is a million pages of stuff that is not applicable. I guess its just not like the old system and I probably have to fool around and...

    Been away for a while...

Steve, I appreciate that. Do they not allow DIY postings anymore? I have not even shopped for the battery yet. Do you know the specs on what kind of battery is needed? Thanks.

Still a newbie....with a question about removing a dashboard door..?

i did the whole dash in a repaint. it was pretty easy with the dash off. im not really sure about the dash staying on. if all else fails, taking the dash off is just a few screws. search the forums for removing dash.

i did the entire thing. the paint was a little more difficult to get off on the guages but it eventually came off. same with the radio surround.

94 gray dash ?? what to do

I repainted in flat black and think it looks much better than gray. Works better with my carpet and door trim. the easy off method is how i did it. also 3 coats of clear coat.
