I've never understood what the point of comparing a stock Viper to a stock Vette is. Why not compare your specific car to someone else's specific car? If you want 675HP or 1000HP, get it and don't worry about how a stock Viper and stock Vette compare. Bench racing extraordinaires.- T.C.z.

What is my 97' GTS Blue/White worth?
There are essentially two different types of Vipers for sale... Vipers that are "For Sale," and Vipers that people actually want to sell. Yes, our turnpikes are concrete, but I haven't been out to inspect the area where I lost control. It would make sense that something was on the road though--I don't normally lose traction whatsoever in third gear.- T.C.z.

It is beyond me why people think customized tags are cool in the first place, let alone a customized tag about someone else's car. Opinions on Kustom House of Kolors Paint vs. Stock Venom Red on my Street Serpent
I used to have a show truck painted with HOK, and that truck literally looked like you could put your hand in it. HOK paint has a depth to it that I've never seen in any other paint.- T.C.z.

Squeaking Noise When Accelerating???!?!?!?
My dad has said he smells a burning smell when he's been driving the car for a while and then he hits the gas fairly hard. I haven't noticed it like he has, so I didn't mention it before. Of course he's freaking out and wanting to take it to our Viper Tech.- T.C.z.

I'm familiar with what SC's and Turbos sound like, and it's nothing like the "breathy whine" those give off. This is more along the lines of a faint brake squeak, and it is coming from somewhere under the car. I am beginning to wonder if it could be clutch related.- T.C.z.

Squeaking Noise When Accelerating???!?!?!?
Okay. I've had my Viper for about 6 weeks now, but I recently discovered what might be a problem. When I am in low RPMs in any gear, when I first accelerate, there is a squeak that comes from somewhere under the car. It's not nearly as loud as a brake squeak, but it has kind of the same pitch...- T.C.z.

Buying a Viper on EBAY
Just to chime in... I would never ever purchase the car sight unseen and have it shipped to me. At worst, I would fly out, have the car inspected by a mechanic after my personal inspection, and then have the shipper come get the car as I flew back home. After you drive it though, you'll...- T.C.z.
