Just did mine last week. I have a 98 with 30k. They were twisted and cracked. Put Woodhouse in with Dave's trans mount and bar. Also installed B&M short throw with MGW knob. The shifter sits like a rock and doesn’t budge at all. Shifting is 100% more precise then before. I would bet most Gen 2...
Does the Guage rise slowly to 250 or does it peg to 250 when you start? If it pegs it is the sending unit mounted on the front of the motor. $ 50 dollar fix. Parts at Dodge.
I own a R/T10 and the drone is not that great. But now your comparing Drone VS. Tone. I say the RT system is a great balance between the other two systems which are night and day.
I agree with JonB. I have 3.73’s in my 98. 1st gear is almost unusable out of the hole and 2nd is even more dangerous. You almost always go sideways even if you get a little aggressive. It’s an absolute panic until you hit 3rd. This Winter I am looking at a S/C and these gears are out…..and in...
I agree headers are in the near future, I just wanted to emphasize the great tone this product has and the sincerity that JonB has with his customers getting the right Stuff. As far as the title goes Jon has a good sense of Humor and this thread will get more hits because of it.
About mid summer I purchased my first Viper a 98 a red R/T 10. As with all first time buyers you can’t wait to spend money on your first mod. Of course being stock your first must mod. Is a cat back system. So I did the usual and searched the forms for endless amounts of information on the...
Has anybody trusted these types of deals on Ebay or is it a "You Get What You Pay For " type of thing. Brakes are one thing you don't mess with, but it is a good deal.

I am looking for a sort throw shifter and decided on the Hurst. My Question is there seems to be two different shifters available for the Viper. Part # P4510168(Hurst Shifter) from Mopar that boasts a 40 % reduction in throw but does not accept the stock shifter handle, and part # 3915055 from...
This is a Great thread to start for all us northeastern Viper owners (western NY here). I have read the list of things to do in the service manual. It seems to be pretty extensive and do not know how many of you seasoned Viper owners really do all of them or do things not listed that are...

Well for all of you that gave suggestions on how to check rear gear ratio, trying to lift this car is a real trip. I even bought a new 3-ton floor jack to lift it up. Yea right. Could not get close to the rear end with it. It even hits the side sills about a .100 to high. So went with plan “B”...
I do still have stock pilot sports. I am changing them out be for S/C is installed. I really like the Roe. I am in manufacturing and the Quality of the Roe is just outstanding on top of its great looks. I have only heard great thing about the reliability and consistency of Roe’s product. I just...
