Considering a 2000 GTS
Mine has been great. Its the 2nd viper I have had. The only problem I have had is with the pulley which I replaced with the aluminum one for about 200.00 . I have had it for 3-4 years and still think its great!!! Good luck- maxdaddy

I think I made a mistake.
Its funny, when you get the muscle car its not what you remember either , I have a 69 gto,68 firebird 73 mgb,and a viper. I work on the old stuff all the time. and the level of perfectness is so different. I to and a family man with 2 kids and simply don't get to drive the viper much.But on the...- maxdaddy

To drive, or not to drive?
Sadly I have only drove mine about 1000 miles the hole time I have owned it,(3 years). nope I will drive it anywhere but with 2 kids it just sits... I have a mgb I haven't drove 100 miles, a 68 firebird not 200 miles in 8 years.. to many things to do.- maxdaddy

Please Critique This '96 B&W For Me!
The 1st picture shows some blistering of the rocker,The 2nd picture of the body inside the door ,the corner is busted out, it should connect and be smooth,I would want to see if the door has damage to.(they probably shut the door and something was there . the chin spoiler is common where it...- maxdaddy

overheating again!
Is you fans on your radiator coming on? If so what temp? Look for anything blocking the radiator. replace thermostat just in case. Does it do it while driving or sitting or both?- maxdaddy

looking at a 96 and 97 b/w gts...
Each year has its haters,Gen 1 weak head gaskets , Gen 2 blocks, non forged, no abs, or has abs.. In the end I have had each with no big problems. Buy what you like and build it better if it can't handle it!- maxdaddy

How to get cas cap off a GTS?
Its been a little while since I took mine off, but you turn it with even pressure, and pull. I wet sanded with 400 then 600 then 1000. puff with 3m buffing and then polish. I didn't clear coat but not a bad ideal.chrome might peel, Mine looks nice.- maxdaddy

looking for a better power steering pulley
Hi guy, my 2000 gts was just running in the driveway and the power steering pulley broke and flung the belt. The pulley is a cheap plastic one(I found one on ebay for under 20 bucks) ,but was wondering if there were any better ones? metal ? Thanks- maxdaddy

Need help deciding on a lift
I just order a bend pac threw metro lift. (found them on ebay) so far they have been helpful and kept me from ordering the wrong lift(bend pac makes a narrow one 2835.00shipped).
