Nice job on the sub install. Looks nice and clean. Not sure if it matters to you or not but when I connected the wiring coming out of the factory amp TO the powered sub it fried the subs amp and I had to get another from the manufacturer of my sub. Instead I had to tap into the leads going from...
I would call your dealer and speak to the service department about getting a copy of the diagram. That is what I did. And then tap into wires being sent to the amp "preamp" from the deck for signal. Good luck.
I have the same problem on right turns also. Grinding noise. Not all the time but more so when its a sharp turn. Happy to see others have the same problem and its a design issue rather than "my car" issue. I have avoided bringing it in because more can go wrong than good when that happens. I...
Call your dealer and ask them to send you a diagram of the speaker wires from the head unit to the amp. The factory diagram will tell you which ones are front right and left.
I removed the stock sub entirely to save some weight (albeit minimal). You will need to tap into the front left and front right signals before they run into the amp so the powered sub knows when to turn on via a signal from the head unit. Do NOT tap into the outgoing wiring coming from amp...

Ask and you shall receive. Just posted this a couple weeks back. :D
I would say about 20 lbs. And yes it is huge and hits very, very hard. Can't see from the outside with hatch closed and it fits perfectly. If you want it out it takes 5 seconds to remove and then you can go racing or track the car.
I have Randomn Tech Hi Flow Cats on my 2009 with stock manifolds and mufflers and it does the same thing on mine. Loud for about a minute then settles down. This is not a result of a crack in the manifold, instead it is the motor causing a different tone during cold start and the fact the cats...
I used the KS600's. They were much better. You would think the stock sound system could at least match the corvette's, a lower priced performance car. If you are fortunate enough to drive Porsches, M Series BMW's, and other high performance vehicles it is a serious let down in the music...
Upon delivery of my 2009 Coupe (which I love) I wanted to stay as stock as possible because the car is really that good right from the factory. The only area I felt worth doing something with was with the audio system. After all, you have this kickin' new Coupe and the sound was just blah. I...
Why did Dodge put the seat back adjustment so far down on these seats. Without the lowering brackets on mine I can barely fit my hand down the side of the seat to make any adjustment. Ergonomically just stupid placement. Love the seats but if you can't make adjustments what good is it.
Nice job on the wifey/girlfriend hiding behind the tree....."honey can you please get out of the shot I am trying to take some pics of the car!"
Congrats on the home. Nothing like being close to your snake.
I was thinking about going with the mirror mount bracket but I am afraid the visibility will be jeopardized. Does anybody know in an SRT if that affects the visibility that much to where it is not worth doing it?
Well it appears the reading I did prior to my purchase seems to be consistent with what I am reading here in that the techonology is newer and upgradeable as new speed cameras and red light cameras are installed in America. I agree they are becoming more widely used by cities all over America to...
