    ACR 1.33 Edition track prep!

    How did the offset on the CCW wheels look, will the tires clear the fenders under full compression? I have seen some ACRs at Sebring have fender contact on turns 1 and 17 due to aftermarket wheels. BTW, thanks for posting, car looks awesome. -David

    Anyone changed the sport cups on 2008 - 2010 ACRs

    The PS2 are better on the street, smoother, quieter, better in rain, and less wheel hop when cold. I run PS2 on one ACR and PSC on the other ACR. -David

    I believe the Michelin's runnning on the ACR-Xs are narrower but stickier than the Hoosiers. The compound they are running does not last as long as the R6s from what I heard at VIR. -David

    Yes, they use a different size designation than 335 or 345 though. They call them: 24/64-18, 27/65-18, or 27/68-18 Also they have soft, medium, and hard compounds. -David

    The Hoosier VRL is the spec tire for the red race group. The Michelin slick is the spec tire for the ACRX series. The Michelin tire is faster than either the Hoosier VRL or R6. Many racers outside the spec series use the Hoosier R6. -David

    Brake Fade

    Bleed brake fluid and check brake pad thickness. Brake fluid should be bleed every two years at most depending on usage. Track duty equals bleeding the brakes before every event. -David

    Also as an FYI, you might be interested in a GPS based datalogger similar to this, gives you lap times and great for data analysis, as the laps are stored to an SD card: PerformanceBox and DriftBox from VBOX USA -David
