    You guys are right. The 3 08 or newer vipers I almost purchased are Venom red due to the price. Why is that color cheaper than other colors? I mean as much as 10k difference on similar car in mileage/condition/options.

    Viper value gets affected a lot due to mileage more so than your average day to day trucks or cars. I see early Gen 3 sold for low 30's due to mileage (including mine) while gen 3 under 5k same car sells for 45k or higher.

    I do track the car at drag stripe so I guess I will go with kumho and save some money from ps2. I will take some pics of curb rash. I got rashes on two rims and clear coat is coming off on all of them. I am thinking about black powder coating as cheap altnerative to new wheels.

    Trade a Gen 3 for a Gen 4

    I am bone stock at 440 rwhp. I have K&N intake kit on it only. I can sell my gen 3 for 38-40k and pick up a Gen 4 for 20k more. Well, I want more power. Gen 4 dyno 520 rwhp on average so it is 80 rwhp more than my current viper. It will take some money to mod more gen 3 to run with a gen 4.

    I like the idea of 600HP and factory warranty. It just seems to be gen 4 dyno about 80 rwhp more than gen 3 on average. It takes a fair amount of modications for gen 3 to run even with gen 4.
