    MGW vs. Hurst shifter

    I love my mgw with short gripper knob and poly motor/tranny mounts all from MJ. Only neg for me is since the install of mounts I have a nagging rattle at my left ac vent left of steering wheel. I have learned to live with it for now. Have never missed a shift under heavy load since the install.

    Mine moved around several times until I had them tack welded at some points and now they seem to move fairly uniform best I can tell. I have an 04 with stock headers and corsa track exhaust and random tech high flow cats.

    I use one that also is for a porsche, mine is a 996 turbo. Plug it into the console under your arm rest area as that one stays live. I alternate bt the pcar and viper. Works great and I don't have to fool around with the battery or other wires. Mine is a ctek unit.
