Mine is a gen 4. Yes noise goes away with clutch pedal down. Up in neutral is at it's noisiest. This is not toi be confused with any clutch noise or anything, strictly just sounds like gears turning... Thinking it is normal, however just wanted to be sure.
I normally drive my SRT-10 Roadster with the top down, however in winter months have driven more with it up and have noticed the tranny to be a bit noisy especially at traffic lights. In neutral is the worst with clutch disengaged. . Just sounds like noisy gears, nothing grinding or horrible. Is...
I recently had the pleasure of working with Toddy at Bad Boyz Garage on installing my Gen 4 Sportsman Competition Lightweight Twin Clutch. We did the complete flywheel assembly, his own “BAD BOYZZ SERIES” Stand Driven and Metallic Friction Material
Let me tell you this post is LONG overdue...
Was the rear O2 on passenger side as found from all your help! Thanks Guys! Still bummed I missed my last session and a half on track however at tleast the problem is a minor one!
THANKS AGAIN!
On track today half way thru and ASD Fuse #2 blew and went into limp mode. Replaced and blew imeadiately. What is the ASD do and any clues where to look for a bad device, sensor or short??
Thanks!!!
I am getting an alignment done Wed for a track day this weekend. My Specs are 1.9F, 1.0R, 0 Toe F, .2 Toe R. This based on many posts and some trial and error I have experienced myself...
I am stuck on Caster. I have read posts mentioning to go anywhere from 5.0-7.0 and only that it depends...
Thanks Mark And Dan. I have another AutoX this weekend and just received my own set of scales so will play with these spring rates for one more event and then if not happy will soften up as Mark suggested...
No Aero... However I am beginning to wonder if my original problem was wrong springs... I had 600/900 7" Eibach's and the rear always felt spongy and would actually feel the suspension bottom out in rear and tires would hit inner fenders in hard downhill corning/apex's. The front tended to push...
Viper X - I am currently running 8" Hypercoils on moton club sports 700f/1000r with 18" SSR's 11" Front and 13" Rear... Not sure the spring rates are the best setup however love the tight feel...
Thanks guys! Should save me some time, could spend a weekend under here looking for perfection.
I wish I could just decide on ride height, right now I have about 4.25"F and 5.0"R measuring from frame at axle center point. Not worried about scraping here just the best handling.
Corner weighing my car for 90% track use... It seems the rear wants to be heavier. Am I really trying to hit 50% front/rear?
Also besides all the talk of how much to lower a car 3/4" - 1" downd from stock; any recommendations frame to ground (center of axle) front/rear? I have no clue what...
Problem all better! :2tu: Replaced and all spark plugs and problem is gone. No visible damage to any of them however maybe a fine crack of just a loose wire I did not catch. Car is running strong, roads were cold and a little foggy so did not push it too hard tonight... :drive:
Funny thing is...
Would love to Dyno the car, just need to find somewhere nearby Monterey...
Headers are the Bad Boys Series from Toddy w/Cats, Mopar ECU. I will try to get some miles on tonight and report back. Will probably replace plugs just in case I accidentally damaged one during header install... Must...
I recently completed installation of new headers and DC Polished Intake and only drove the car for on quick Auto X event in which seemed to have some noticeable backfire on imeadiate deceleration and a little bit of stumbling/breaking up of power over 4k rpm.
Only did the high rmp power loss...
I am considering buying a 1k per corner weighing system and want to be sure it would be adequate for my Gen V car.
Has anyone weighed theirs from to back to see if Front is over 2k vs rear??
Already been on many sites and if I had found them would have ordered already... Was looking more for a manufacturer or part number; finding reselling vendors is never a problem...
I run multiple AutoX events for fun and find 2nd gear being two tall to get much out of it and 1st is far to short...
I am currently running a Quaife 3.55 with mopar ECU.
I currently have my car apart doing headers and intake however was considering changing to 3.73s while my car is apart...
I am currently running 600/900 spring rates on my Moton Club Sports. I am finding I push a lot even with 315 Hoosier A8's and still get a lot of lean and the car is still a little hard to predict. I was thinking to step it up to 750/1000 as I have heard 300 pound difference is too much between...
In my car I used the 2" kit and installed the front brackets on the seat in the next set of forward mounting holes. Then I fabricated brackets to move the rear studs back 1.75" this got me as low and as far back as possible...
The brackets were basically flat iron that I bolted to stock studs...
I have installed all my eye bolts and was ready to jump in and start adjusting... Now three frustrations in order of aggravation…
First problem how do you get the top clips clip thru the seat openings?? I suppose I could force it or cut some plastic however I am beginning to wonder if this is...
