Re: Forgestar F14 wheels in stock! Ready to ship. 19/19 and 19/20 for all gen Viper
Offset looks off to me. Anyone else notice how far the wheels are out?
Don't forget guys, you can program the V1 to get rid of all those city false alarms. You have the ability to turn bands on/off. The V1 website has a section with the instructions.
Reload your tune; you may have some computer anomaly. If it does not clear after reloading, I would lean toward plug wire or coil pack at
this point. Btw, 4 and 9 do not share same coil pack. 9 is the forward pack(drivers side rear) and 4 is rear pack(middle rear). You may want to swap...
Creeper, I have not put it on the dyno. I have Titan Motorsports down the road and just have not taken the time to pay them a visit; guess it is about 650 at the FW. Believe it not, I was just looking at making this thing sound like a hot rod rather than a UPS truck. Like everyone says... I went...
With all the posts about exhaust systems and wanting to get rid of the UPS truck sound, nothing beats NA. 08 exhaust with high flow cats and M&M headers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eb9TxoaHNzs&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Installing my new M&M headers this weekend and curios on who has had long term success using just copper silicone on the flanges. I saw the write-up in the "illustrated Upgrade" section about using copper gaskets, but I don't want to be continually fighting leaks. Anybody have input or suggestions?
Nice work Erick, I agree with you; Todd does a great job and is spot on honest. Last week he and I worked through my post build tune(SCT). I was previously experiencing a significant surge at about 2200-2500rpm. The first tune out of the box the surge was next to gone. A couple of nights ago he...
Here you go Tony.
The LPW breather are positive lock design. They come with a check ball in them that you have to remove if you are running atmospheric. They have internal baffles and a removable/cleanable filter. I installed the external filter as an added layer of protection. Also, I...
Thanks again Plum. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not bumping my head on the steering wheel during low rpm driving, but this is not a stock cammed Viper and it certainly does not drive like one.
Yes Plum I agree. I just wanted Chris to make sure I wasn't too lean when I drove my car to Titan Motorsports for a dyno tune. I am in the ballpark based on numerous cars before me. Dyno tune next monday.
One other thing to remember is that the Viper motor is a big low rpm running machine...
During the last two days I have driven my new Gen III build to work (approx. 50 miles) at both city and hwy speeds (80mph). The car drives nice at 80mph in 5th turning 2300rpm. Bring her down to city speeds 30-40mph and you cannot cruise around less that 2000rpm as the car wants to go into...
