Let's hope that Sergio Marchionne , FIAT will give Ralph Gilles more money, resources this time to develop the 2015 Viper.. I'm keeping my fingers crossed..
I think he's right. Someone else has mentioned it..

Yes too much inventory at the factory, and too many unsold cars at the dealers too.. I heard on the VOA forum that there's going to be 0% interest offered..

I don't remember, but I can see that is defitnetly do able if FIAT gave him more resources/$$.. The new Chrysler 200 has a 9 speed auto paddle shifter, and the new Z06 will have an 8 speed. GM claims it's 8 speed auto paddle shift will shift faster than Porsche's PDK..
This has nothing to do with exposing the Gen V or SRT brands. It has everything to do with FIAT making the decisions since they own Chrysler, and SRT. The Lemans race is a very prestigious one. One that is very important for the Ferrari Marque, and FIAT .. Ferrari's reputation in Europe is #1 for...
Ralph is in a hard position, and I understand him taking this approach. It's tough when a car company is owned by another one. You just cannot do things freely, and the shoe string budget given to him doesn't help either..
Somebody just picked up a new TA for $109k in Cali.. I predict TA prices will fall to $99k in 4 to 5 months..

Chrysler has always been on tough times. A company that has been part owned by 2 companies. Daimler Benz, Cerberus and now FIAT owns 100% percent. Do these companies that have owned part of Chrysler care about the Viper? I bet FIAT is more focused on spending their money on how to sell more...
6 piston calipers a big yes for the Viper. . CC rotors not needed. As all my friend's have changed out theirs with Steel ones.. Here's a good thread my friend posted on the CV forum..

Not a marketing thing, but more of a budget restraint is the reason why the 2003 gen 3 four piston calipers have been carried on to the gen 4 and the gen 5. The 4 piston brakes do not bite nearly as hard as a 6 pistons on the track( even with upgraded high performance pads, SS lines, Motul...
I'd like to see more advances on the Viper. Been a long time Viper fanatic. I own 3 Vipers, gen 2, gen 4, gen 5 and a C6Z06. Tracked them all, etc..Ready to see some changes. Would be nice to have a DCT, or auto paddle shift on the next snake. Not to mention 6 piston brakes..
The Viper is...
The brakes on the ZR1 are no comparsion to the Viper's (Which are Ferrari Enzo brakes). I drove my friends Carbon Edition Z06 which has the ZR1 brakes at Laguna Seca, and the braking was phenomenal. Phenomenal lap after lap. The two best braking cars I've driven was the Carbon Z,and a 2011...
Sport Cup tires like low pressures. I run them at 25psi cold fronts and 27psi cold rears. Running Laguna Seca at 72-75 degree temps. The fronts get 31psi hot and 33 psi rears..
GA3 is a awesome wheel. I just received mine, but they're for my 010 ACR. 19 rear and 18 front. I had the front wheel special made to clear 380mm 6 piston brakes that I'm installing on the ACR. These have the titanium fasteners. I will go Forgeline again for my Gen V fore sure..
Where did you get the information that Randy Pobst boiled the ZR1 brakes? When he tested the ZR1 and TA at laguna seca. He praised the ZR1 brakes, and said that the TA brakes could use more bite..
