I have a 09 vert. When I take it to a brushless car wash I take a large towel and hold it up against the window edges when the high pressure rinse comes around.
I bought an old homelink control off of ebay and built it into my visor following the old link mentioned above. Then I made an engraved ss plaque to cover the access hole. on one side all you see is the small trim plate with three buttons and an led. It is a PIA project and you have to be...
I'd like to thank JonB at Parts-Rack for helping me put my 2009 vert. back together after a spin. He located parts as my body shop guy told me he needed them. His locating efforts were trully above and beyond "customer Service". Please try him for needed Viper parts. You'll make a friend too. John
Going around a corner, I added a bit too much pedal and spun and climbed a curb. Not too bad considering. I know I need a new Rt rear knuckle, tie rod etc.No body damage! Anyone selling an "09 six spoke polished stock rear wheel and or tire? Shiit happens. At least it's cheaper than a day in the...
Is the metal speaker mesh on the top center console easy to take out? I just noticed a dent in the mesh and would like to pop it out. I must have done it unknowingly with my elbow or while cleaning my rear window on my convertible.
I didn't buy my '09 Aero Vert. for the track, even though I might try it some day at a "Gentleman's event". My Miata and Mini were weekend track cars. When I bought it it was parked between the previous owner's 360 Modena and Gallardo. I could afford either of the other two, but fell in love with...
I'm old school, so I like my first oil change at 500 miles. I special ordered two 2009 Viper appropriate oil filters from the OEM parts dept. They arrived and I took them to my friends shop with my oil to use his lift. Well since this was my first oil change with this car, I didn't know that the...
I only increased the radius of the top outer corner. HyperViper posted a picture of how he did his and I liked the look and copied it. Easy to do with a file and sand paper. Just a minor visual change. Get them, you'll be happy you did. BTW, most people don't touch them and just mount them as is.
Reshaping my new sill guards made me think to share info about a tool that I use in my garage a lot.I purchased a 12" disk sander from Harbor Freight a couple of years ago. It has saved me hours of hand work on woodwork and metalwork. I'm always improving or making parts for my motorcycle, car...
Just installed mine during a Scifi commercial. Just kidding. It took about 20 minutes w/o removing the tires.Your arms just get dirty past the elbows.I followed HyperViper's example and increased the upper outer edge radius. Now it looks stock. Perfect fit. It disappears on a black car, but...
All you need to get a license in FL is be able to run a leaf blower. That is a limited license, since then you can only drive slow in the fast (left) lane at 10 mph below the limit.
Has anyone tried this boxing in Florida? I have exactly the same situation and I'm dying to put a lift in a 9 ft ceiling garage. Can you do this and still be within code? Any contractors out there?
I believe I read somewhere here that the 2010 models are going to have 645 HP. Is this true? If so, can you bring the 2009s up to this power level using the same factory technology?
Hi PatentLaw. FYI, I ran (dust still hasn't settled 25 years later) away from N.J to Fl as soon as I graduated from school. Too crowded and changing neighborhoods. You're very lucky to live in the Princeton area, hopefully still very pretty.
Great statistics. I'm glad I didn't try to get...
