    Got a quote from a dodge dealer for an alignment and they quoted $400. I know there are several measurements they are suppose to do but is that really needed. Has anybody taken the Viper to a local shop? My front tires wear on the inside really bad.

    I did have some chips on the brake pads when i use the mallet and i was planning on changing out the pads and rotors. Thank you all for your input.

    But the wires between the car and car door for the window are the thicker ones and usally dont break but worth a look.

    How do you replace the drivers door wiring harness?

    I had the same problem with wires so I cut them all and inserted a wiring harness the runs the length of the door boot so that when it fails agian i can just unplug and plug in a new harness.

    Yes, I'm sure the e-brake was off. I also got the rotor off with the mallet beatings but it seemed to abusive.

    The window wires are the thicker of the wires that go through the boot between the door and car and may be the reason they usally are not the wires that break.

    Squeeky Brakes

    I just removed and put back (same parts) driver side rear brake pads and rotor. And the squeaks went away but have started comming back slowly. My guess is that most of the squeaks come from the rear dirver side brakes that have car brake and e brake working off the same piston.
