    Overheating 2000 GTS

    My 2002 GTS gave several of same symptoms except for leak. Turned out to be bad water pump. Sometimes it ran cool, sometimes it overheated at idle. Easy to see why it fails when removed. Plastic impeller spins on the shaft SOMETIMES!

    Need Help Please...car threw 2 codes today

    Also check for cracks in rubber hoses leading to the seleniod under driver side headlight. My 02 GTS had same issue. Old brittle hoses were the source. After replacement it took about four drives for codes to clear.

    I'm disappointed in the Gen 5 forum

    I think the gen V looks great also. Car had to be upgraded to appeal to more buyers or it was dead. Internals are staged for future HP gains, they planned this and will play their hand as they see best. I have faith in Ralph and SRT to keep delivering.

    FYI similar cars and years: Recently thru a code related to evacuation system leak. Turned out to be a cracked rubber hose under left headlight at the selenoid. Found it cracked at selenoid and at transition from metal tube to rubber directly behind left head light. Roughly two hour fix after...

    Anyone have a lead on where to purchase a light weight, indoor use car cover with stripes? Have seen them, tried search. Gotta get the wife some help so I don't end with a canvas beast that "fits".

    what size are the bolts that attach the side sills under the car?

    maybe a dab of locktite to keep from studding rear wheels also.

    02 sensor designator

    The culprit. Got caught up around engine mount somehow and sliced one wire. Was out at local track three weeks ago. Finally worked it's way through.

    Tried search with no luck on this and was hoping someone has figured this out. I am getting code P0155 2/1 failed heater element. The 2 means downstream but can not find in the manual which side the 1 means. Anybody??
