Re: Well I wrecked my 06 coupe, so far they say it is repairable and I am pricing par
Is the actual steel frame bent or did they find the damaged parts can be replaced
Re: Well I wrecked my 06 coupe, so far they say it is repairable and I am pricing par
You may want to get a second opinion. There is a big difference between the bonded composite parts that hold the fenders, etc. on and actual damage to the steel frame......about a $21,000 difference.
I bought my car used and found it had the right front rim repaired. They basically sanded the entire rim and then polished and clear coated. It did not match the other three and due to the amount of material removed (center cap was held in with double back tape) could have been dangerous at high...
Re: Well I wrecked my 06 coupe, so far they say it is repairable and I am pricing par
You are correct, at first they thought mine needed the whole frame $21,000.00 :omg: I told them the front composite frame supports are available separately and they basically are bonded to the frame. Steel...
Re: Well I wrecked my 06 coupe, so far they say it is repairable and I am pricing par
From the look of the car the damage is more extensive than my 04 had. My car only suffered a left side collision which ripped the front left portion of the bumper off which then bounced off the front wheel and...
I have to order complete cooling fan assembly for my 04 today. A small piece broke off the plastic fan blade which cannot be bought separately from the assembly which sucks. Best price I have found is $729 + core charge.
Noticed on my 04 if the key is inserted in the ignition with the drivers door open the window does not drop down when door is closed which I suspect is by design. Not sure about passengers side.
I hope you are not seriously considering ordering anything from RSI....take if from someone who already knows the outcome unless you press the issue and in my case call the credit card company for a charge back
and then line dry using wooden "dolly" clothes pins..... on the other hand I use a front loader on gentle cycle with cold water and hang on the pool fence to dry :)
You may be able to pull the resistor out and re-solder it back to the terminal, I did this and it has been fine. However keep in mind it is likely your motor is binding, creating excessive current across the resistor and causing it to fail (melts solder joint and opens circuit). You should check...
Glad to hear it worked out for you....now lay some pictures on us, I'm looking at coil over options for mine. Needless to say they won't be ordered from RSI :)
Don't take this the wrong way but properly adjusted mirrors eliminate all blind spots on any car. As an added bonus properly adjusted mirrors will eliminate headlights in the mirrors from following cars. Probably 90% of the vehicles on the road have improperly adjusted mirrors. It seems people...
I got the same "promise", waited a few days extra and then call the CC company for charge back. Personally I would not wait another day.... with RSI its always tomorrow, next week, etc.
If you paid with CC, call the card company tonight for a charge back. Your wasting your time trying to get it from RSI, I know from first hand experience. Alternately you could "borrow" a few skunks from the local zoo and introduce them to Will's shop for a battle royale and freshening up....
You can hope, but meanwhile I would look at your options for getting your coin back. You should contact Will again and mention if he cannot provide a tracking number while you are on the phone tell him you just want your money returned so you can get them straight from BC. Even if they agree to...
normally with all this "friendly" nudging Will would be all over this thread. Because he has not posted in weeks Neo-Rambo needs to get in front of this mess or he will have definitely contributed to RSI's new business model.
