The issue with cast pistons is not simply detonation from the tuning aspect, but also cylinder pressure. Depending on the efficiency of the turbo system and the flow characteristics of the turbos, you could run 10psi or 2psi and blow your motor. Twin Turbo 06 for 49k
Was an RSI TT build prior to being wrecked. No motor work that I am aware of, just the TT kit. It is my understanding the car had front end damage. While the car was being repaired an unknown number of items were stolen from the car. RSI was contacted for parts, but the parts were not purchased.- WillH2010

Turbo or supercharger?
I agree a Supercharged car won't come close to the capability of a TT setup. And with a properly sized turbo you can almost make them spool at idle.- WillH2010
