    installing longer valves in a rebuild

    is it ok to use valves .200 longer for my rebuild , using a bigger cam and was hopping that i would have a better spring selection going +.200 length. can always shim . thanks to all let me know your thoughts .

    gen 1 oil pressure

    hi all , mrbob here . still cold outside . thinking of what things to look at come spring time , my main concern is the oil pressure , seams low when warmed up . 10 to 20 lbs. and the oil light went on . i replaced the pressure switch and changed oil to 20 x 50 castrol syntec . oil light is out...

    F.Y.I. got the correct bosch replacement pump on ebay # matched my origional gen 1

    just got it installed runs great , wanted every one to know cost $150 and was the exact numbered pump as mine . the guy has a couple left new for !150 i could not pass it up , was going to mod for a walbro but this was a better repair . thanks to all

    replacing fuel pump gen 1 , have the pump out have some questions

    got the pump out not as bad as i thought it would be , replacing the original bosch pump with a walbro 225. my question is do i leave off the origional round filter on the bottom and remove the bottom of the canister with the disc and rubber insulator that the fuel pump rest on and just install...

    anyone blend e85 with gas , thoughts , formula for mixing , ideas

    thought about this at work today , i would think 4 gallons of e85 and fill the rest up with 10% 91 octane would raise the octane level since e85 is 105 octane , then recalibrate my vec 2 . thanks to all

    replaced roller lifters with dc lifters still have a barking noise after warmed up??

    have a barking noise sounds like internal , removed the serpentine belt still here it , replaced the factory lifters with dc Johnson rollers . ran it yesterday and still here the noise . have a greg good spec cam with 601/607 lift . have 440 lbs. open pressure . could this be to much??> also...
