    Lap Timer Recommendations

    Harrys Laptimer for the iphone or Aim "Solo" laptimer, its a stand alone unit. I am guessing this is just for some DE or time trial events nothing too serious

    Not perfered.....I used to drive to the track on R6's and now I trailer.....big differance in longevity and over all stickness of the tires for me Good luck....this madness never ends

    Awsome experience isn't it......I run with PCA groups @ Mid-Ohio, 3 of my other viper freinds run the R6's and we just terrorize the Advance group, the only cars that pass us is us lol. They will gradually degrade but last quite awhile for HPDE days up to 40 plus heat cycles I have gotten on...

    A local Porsche Club is a great way to get in to great tracks, they have great instructors to help. Don't forget about Narra, former Viper Days. The Porsche Clubs are very active.

    Sticky tires saves cars.............look into getting some semi-slicks or even some used R compounds............... .................and yes definitly get an instructor that knows vipers

    Agreed.............you will need tires for sure My 97 GTS had 9,600 miles driven regularly needed tires due to dry rot and they were as hard as a rock

    I can not find anywhere on NARRA's wedsite about the contingency programs. Are they still awarding tires from Hoosier and product credits form Go-Pro, Sunoco, etc? In GT and TT with contingency sponser decals on your car of course and if you win your class. For 2012 NARRA had the info posted but...
