They are just standard everyday rivets. These came from Lowes and were installed with a standard squeezer. The rivet part was really easy to do and looked exactly like it did before. The hard part was fitting all the parts back together and making the door open and close like normal.
I don't...
Thanks! The matte or flat black stripe or stripes is deff gonna happen. Just have to decide on what type I wanna go with.
I've also decided to tint or "smoke" the brake lights and signals. I wouldn't mind just ordering some already done that way. Does anyone have any suggestions where to find...
This doesn't sound good. It sounds like the holes are stripped.
Shouldn't be that hard to fix. My car has white plastic nutplates in the holes. Should be relativly easy to tap them out and put some new threads in.
I have changed my cap three times and I never had a problem with them...
I was thinking the same exact thing. The two traditional stripes in that color might be overkill. A late gen driver stripe might be just right though. Thanks for the suggestion!
guy that pc my rims did my old cap. It was a bitch to get apart and a bitch to to put back together but we used nice quality rivs so im happy w it. Pics to come
:EDIT: forgot to mention i have an MGW cap on it now. the pc rivet version blows it away
