    being an electrician i would definately have a power block for your sound and FP. add a capacitor to the block to smooth out electrical noise. less wires/legnth the more efficient.

    could have slipped down during normal driving. pay attention to the breaking lines around the hood adjacent to the doors and bumper. look for fresh marks around bolts for movement.

    Does oil have a shelf life?

    if its been put away from sunlight, consistent room temperature and never been opened it should be alright. oil can oxidize once opened/used. dont quote me though.
