Steve, I think Greg should get those and also get the CF ones you and I have, so he can switch them back and forth every other week. Maybe that will keep him busy from detailing the living daylights out of his car every night! ;)
I'm with you on your affection for H-spokes. I bought some "chromed" from Jon B at Parts Rack, and I love them. Give him a call I am sure he can fix you up.
I have followed this at a distance and as one who suffered some of the censorship personally, I voted with my feet and joined the other club. But in the final analysis, it is just a car club designed to accommodate our love for this car. It makes me sad that this very small "nation", is now...
I certainly don't have a history of "bad-mouthing" vendors here. Visa has ALL the documentation, and I certainly feel no obligation to defend my position on this forum. I am only responding to others for the benefit of members. If I have been inaccurate in any statement I have made, sue me...
I absolutely agreed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great experiences with JonB. Totally screwed by Steve over a 6 month period of lies. Finally had to turn VISA on him. (Thank God I didn't write a check!) I hope somebody that is in charge of fixing things, knows WTF is going on here!!!!!
Call Rodney at RPM Transmissions in Anderson Indiana. We are fortunate here to have one of the top transmission and rear-end shops in the country in our area. Their customer service is outstanding. I would be surprised if the could not answer your problem. Good luck!
Dan, it probably sounds trivial with the kind of advancements you are describing, but, would we be able to keep the "exhaust burble" on decel, if we wanted to?
Speaking for myself...yes, yes, and yes. But I would also be interested in a N/A package that someone of your talents has figured out all the problems.
Dan,
I have been on the forum long enough to have read about your talents. I think without question that if you packaged a Paxton option complete, and also a N/A option complete there would be interest. I know I would.
Thanks for your efforts!
I know I am biased, and I am including the rare ACR convertibles, but I think the 08 - 10 winged verts are among the best looking cars in the world. I had mine and in attendance at the Indy C&C was a rare appearance by an ACR convertible, and the feedback by people that don't even know Vipers...
I've posted this story before. This was back when I had my 05 yellow vert. I'm sitting at a stop light when I get that feeling we have all felt when someone is staring at us. I look to the right and some a$$hole in a Prius is flipping me off! Well it took about a half a sec to figure out...
Well...it is well known that I have not been happy with the club lately, and I threatened to walk with my feet. But with all the interesting revelations of late, I'm not ready to yet to throw the "baby out with the bathwater".
This is a pic that I have posted before, but I do think it...
I know you said "not diff related", but what about the diff mounting bolts? I had that on my gen 3 and it definitely make a clunk that you knew was not "internal".
Buy a Gen 4 and put a 3:55 gear in it. I put one in my Gen 3, loved it and then put one in my Gen 4. IMHO these cars should have had that gear to start with. Don't worry about the 5th gear thing. In another current thread, 345's b- spinnin did an analysis and claims the 08,09 5th works...
