    Viper Crash

Hey, NI-KA, Check out the video that ACRcrazy posted. the in car video shows a driver with both hands on the wheel long past hitting the rev limiter. in the view from the outside you can hear him hitting the rev limiter and swerving around as he looks for the shifter. and that was a successful run.

    Viper Crash

His problems started before he left the line. With the help of that guy at the left front of the car he successfully pre- staged and then staged. ( I'm trying not to comment on the fact that he needed help to find starting line). His helper walks away so now he's ready to launch. Now the car...

i am switching My 1997 GTS to biger rims, any issues ?

The dynamics and stability shouldn't change in a negative way at all with your new wheel diameters. The big change you will feel will be from going to a great tire. I would recommend Michelin Pilot Sport cups if you only drive in the dry, or the Michelin Pilot super sports if you do any driving...

    Viper Crash

There's a lot of driver error going on there, Maybe he should have learned how to drive a Corvette first and then stepped up to the bad ass viper.

May i be having too much exhaust??>>>>

When that m5 got you did he come from behind already going faster than you? When you tried to race him were you in the lowest gear possible, even though our vipers have a bunch of torque, if you're in the wrong gear you're gonna get beat.

Tire Temps at left hand Track

How much camber are you running , front and rear ? Also maybe you're getting slight wheel spin on the inside tire. I know our vipers have a posi type rear end, but I've seen lots of them be non-functional by 20,000 miles. What year is your car and have you changed spring rates or shocks?

    Another loose Crank bolt...kind of

WD 40 is not oil, if I were you I would use brake clean to get all that crappy WD 40 out of there. WD 40 is not your friend. Use motor oil.

    Wheel Hop

Stiffer motor and tranny mounts is the first step to getting getting rid of wheel hop. then unfortunately only more expensive adjustable shocks will help get rid of the rest

    Catch can plumbing

Drew, I agree with you 100 percent, I wonder if Sams problem is because he's pulling his vans off the back of the valve covers, Maybe there's a pool of oil back there and blowby is actually pushing the liquid into the can. it's good to hear your system is working so well, FYI The ACR's Plug the...

    Catch can plumbing

Wow, thats messed up! Just an idea, plug the holes in the back of the valve covers, and install some breathers on the top in the center of the valve cover, Jim at Exotic Engine Development makes some good ones, and so does AC performance . I've got them on my car and they work great. Although...

    Catch can plumbing

Hey Sam, if you're tracking your car, and the idea is to keep oil out of your air box and intake manifold and motors combustion chamber, you need to ditch the engine vacuum source (PCV or CCV) completely and run both valve covers to a catch can with a breather and plug the hoses the go between...
