    You may want to do a search on recent auction sales of Mecum and BJ, they sold one or two 2001 Rt's. I just bought mine at the end of 2011 and paid $33,800.00 for it with 29K on the speedo. Hope this helps you!

    Well, I just got it in November of 2011 and probably will not sell it for a long time. I tend to keep my cars for well over 10 years, even my daily drivers....The car that I sold (1961 Devin Roadster) to get the viper, I had for 25+ years. Who knows, I just might request to be burried in it...

    All good points.....There should have been something to show the new viper was on it's way.     Composite materials have dropped in price over the years, but there are other factors involved here. A company that manufactures composite materials will give large discounts to companies that have large orders and go through a lot of material, such as Boeing and other aerospace companies...
