I concur, the throttle response and off boost power is night and day difference!
Have you tried a Goodyear gatorback belt? I had slipping issues on my c5 a couple years ago from stretching and the gatorback cured the problem.
I'm thinking about throwing a grooved cut pulley on the blower too...
Yeah I'm mostly preparing the car with tthe correct fuel setup so I can run 10lbs later on, along with adding a head/Cam package.
Ill definately go with that crank pulley over the smaller blower pulley, I still need to order a DLM tensioner assist as well.
It does feel like its making quite...
Wiring up Roe Meth injection kit.
I mounted the pump control button so that it can be pressed from the battery area.
Pump mounted on driver side right under the resevoir in the trunk, just enough room for it.
AEM Wideband/Boost Failsafe Gauge. (The vaccuum is...
I ended up doing the following.
Roe Meth injection kit
Roe SCT Tune with 69lb injectors and 2 bar map sensor.
Aeromotive Stealth 340lph Fuel Pump
Mopar 3" Race Exhaust
AEM Wideband/Boost Failsafe Guage in single pod
I have a set of 3.55 gears from Roe sitting here also, I plan...
275/35r18 has a 96.25mm sidewall.
285/35r18 has a 99.75mm sidewall.
295/30r18 has an 88.5mm sidewall.
If anything a 295/30 is too small and you'll add tire to fender gap. Gross.
285/35 is the best as it fills the wheel well BARELY more and gives you more tread width.
Is that rod (bolt) supposed to stay on there all the time? I ask because my paxton car doesn't have it installed. I do have the bolt and block, previous owner left it in the trunk.
Right now its just a stock paxton kit on a stock car. Corsa track exhaust. It did put down 674 and 692whp on a dynojet, 2 dyno pulls.
I run 18" drag radials on the car at all times.
I have 3" Random Tech High Flow cats new in the box I plan to put on soon.
Here is what I have planned...
OK Ill try that. Am I hooking the side latches in the correct place? I don't see where else I could hook them but just want to be sure its right before I shorten them.
I sent him pics at the beginning of july showing how it fit, he gave me no insight then on how to fix it. Then after the tonneau came I emailed a few times about it still not fitting with no reply.
So the forums turned out to be where I needed to go to get answers and I appreciate Steve's...
Those side latches were as tight as possible, bolt laying up against the top allen bolt while wrapping the velcro around. But as soon as you let go they slack off like that.
Does the top allen bolt need to be replaced with a low profile convex headed allen bolt?
Here are the new pics.
Here is a big hole in the driver side window, anyway to fix?
Here is the top back corner of the driver side window not sealing, has a gap in there.
Couple back shots, its still sticking up in the back rounded corners....
Here are the side...
There wasnt any drop cloth? There was a furniture blanket it there if thats what you are talking about.
I just put the front real loose and cranked the sides down as tight as I can. The top of the bolt gets in the way from them fully latching however. So I basically pushed the latched as...
Steve,
Thanks for replying here. Are you saying to basically completely unlatch the front and then crank down the side latches? Then latch the front afterwards?
Also is it supposed to be installed directly on top of the factory latched down softtop? No tonneau in between? The problem with...
May 7th Steve sent me these pics of a fiberglass hardtop for an SRT he had sitting around.
May 8th he told me 1200 for the top with lexan window and a headliner that matches the factory center console lid, 570 for black paint, 288 for shipping. So I sent him $2058 the same day for...
