I run pretty much the same setup in all my cars. In the Viper, I did the following:
Pioneer DEH-80PRS Head Unit
Arc Audio KS300.4 Amp
Image Dynamics XS-65 Comps in the doors
Image Dynamics ID10 Sub in the trunk

I agree with the cost of ownership issue you will face on the 360. The Viper is a racecar and very simple. In all honesty, it's probably one of the simplest cars Dodge makes. The 'Viper Tax' makes having them worked on more expensive; however, this can be avoided if you can do a little wrenching...
Congrats! If you are planning on doing wheels anytime in the near future, suggest holding off on tires until then. Nine Ball is a vendor on here and could hook you up with a good deal on a nice setup.
Those Forgestars completely transformed that car! Dave said it was 'night and day' over the stock setup as far as driving comfort and handling. I still can't believe they can make money off those wheels considering how inexpensive they are. Truly amazing.

Looks great Andy! I'll be back in town the 1st of August. If you need help with the re-assembly, just let me know.
My car is still up in Conroe in case we need to use it for reference again. My car has been put to use several times for that purpose....lol

I'm planning on removing the VEC2 module from my car and having it retuned using SCT software. My tuner said he could do this for me, which is probably what will end up happening. My question is, how big of a job is this? Is this something I can do myself or should I just leave it up to the...
Mopar Boy and Someguy,
Thanks for the help guys!
I'm going to pull a vacuum on the system and go from there. Hopefully all I need is to add some freon. Good input and it's much appreciated.

I just checked and the compressor isn't kicking on at all when I turn on the AC. Since its not coming on at all, I'm starting to think its a bad switch.

Thanks for the input AbsolutHank. I was hoping there might be a quick fix solution but it's probably best that I troubleshoot the entire system. I'm thinking it's a switch because I didn't hear the compressor kicking on. Although, that could just be because my car is so loud....

Apparently there is a fitting that leaks on the power steering housing. I've got a reddish orange color fluid leaking on mine and i think that's what it is. Do a search on power steering and a good thread pops up on the subject.

My AC isn't blowing cold air. Saw a thread in the gen1/2 section about replacing the o-rings on the AC line and then recharging the system. Is this fix applicable to the gen3/4's? I don't typically use the AC, but it's miserably hot in Houston and really need to get it fixed.
Any help is...
The Greg,
I will be pulling the Belanger header back system (includes Belanger hi-flow cats) off my car in a few weeks. If you don't have the Belanger headers, you will most likely need to take it to an exhaust shop, have them cut out the mid pipes, and refit it to your factory headers. An...
I've heard several people say they've had issues with the stock cats (there's 4) clogging/melting. I haven't had this issue but I suspect it would yield the symptoms that you're experiencing. My 2 cents......
