    Keep in mind, the teams only had 2 hours of practice, which doesn't leave much time to set the car up, AND do long runs to see how the tires drop off over a stint. BMW's engine was homologiated via waiver, much like the Viper's oversize engine.

    Nobody is putting their cards on the table yet. 12 hours is a long race, no reason to rip a flyer, and get the eyes looking at you too early.

    Too bad Corvette didn't show up for the test, they make the best benchmark, when they aren't sandbagging. They did a private test at Sebring the week before. Best news is everyone is happy with how the cars ran, and Ryan Dalziel got some seat time.
