    Thanks for the recommendation. I had Eddie install a 3.55 rear diff. He is awesome, very nice and treated me well. The viper is much more responsive, really enjoy driving it around town.

    I ordered a ipsco short throw shifter, great installation instructions online. Havent gotten around to installing it yet but I do dislike the stock shifter, it feels like I'm rowing a boat. :) I also ordered a MGW barrel shifter knob. They sell them for their corvettes but an easy fix to fit...

    These Yellow Vipers are my favorite color. I've been looking for a while and just purchased 46/50 from a collector a couple months ago. Curious to see how many of these are still on the road.

    Hi Brett, I just had the same dilemma. If the cars were comparable with the options that you want then I'd pay the extra for the gen 4. In my case I found a great gen 3 in the color that I wanted. For everyday driving I don't think I'd miss the upgrades, and for the money I saved I'm adding...

    Thanks, going to check out an 05 vca commemorative. I noticed someone posted an 04 vs 09, seems like the vote goes to the 09 for the upgrades. I haven't driven an 08/09 but would 8k extra be worth the upgrades?

    I'm considering the purchase of either an 05 viper yellow with 17k miles for 42k or an 08 viper venom red with 7k miles for 50k, both stock. I know of the changes in 08 and would prefer the yellow but would like to hear what the viper experts :) have to say that is a better deal. Thanks
