Gen v steering wheel on a gen 3/4 will it work...

That looks awesome on there, especially with the red accent stitching. Don't forget to PM me if/when you get rid of that carbon fiber wheel.

Carbon ceramic brakes for the Gen V

Exactly! I don't want (or need CCM-R), especially at over 30k dollars. How about let me run the standard CCM setup and if I need a new rotor after 1000 track miles, that's on me. Since it is so mass produced now, I should be under $10k/set of 4. I'd pay $10 for a complete set. I've seen...

Carbon ceramic brakes for the Gen V

So, they must have given GM an 80% discount or more because there is no way that the CCB's on the ZR1 added more than $5-6k in manufacturing costs to the car. Not when a stripper model 1LZ equipped ZR1 could be purchased in the past for under 100k new and the equivalent new Z06 still costs...

    Gen 5 carbon sill plates?

I'd do a set of carbon fiber sills that fit Gen 4.

    How were the new magazines

Complete lack of material in regards to performance modifications. Nice quality and good pics, but really no useful information regarding those who like to learn about and upgrade the platform.

Greg Good does it again [email protected] GEN 4

Did you ever sell the Greg Good heads that you were running last year? If not, please send me a PM. I'd be interested.

Wrecked 08 ACR on ebay - how much to fix?

I offered $22k for the car as is because I think that's all it's worth sight unseen. I figured it would need a new frame as mentioned above (~$14k) plus misc panels at another $6-8k. So parts plus roller you are in it for $42-44k before labor time and paint. The car with a salvaged title can...

    Most beautiful Viper out there

I came within 5k of buying that white ACR with blue drivers stripe when it was on ebay. The car was on consignment, and the guy wanted like $90k for it which I thought was high. I agree though, one of the baddest looking ACR's out there.

Price on a set of ACRX wheels. I'm assuming these are the sidewinders?

JackB and Nine Ball - Question

Any DA, negative or otherwise. The car is ever so slightly faster than the Gen IV ACR based on video of NineBall's runs but is hampered by an overly sensitive computer it appears that limits maximum power frequently enough that it wasn't possible to get off a clean run in mid 70's air. I agree...

JackB and Nine Ball - Question

I could care less about the Gen V ET's. I want to know trap speeds. Has anyone cracked 130mph? If not, somethings wrong.

NEW: SRT VIPER GEN 5 - GEN 4 RACE HEADERS BBG STYLE (Teaser Photos)

I've spoken to Toddy a couple times. He doesn't have any built yet for sale. I believe I'll be the first one to get a set so I'm hoping he will have a set ready relatively soon.

    jeep grand Cherokee

We love ours. We opted for the V6 since it has right around 300hp, didn't see the tradeoff of 4-5mpg city/highway being worth another ~60hp. As far as performance, it isn't blazingly quick and requires some RPM to accelerate briskly...the nature of the V6 I guess with not a lot of low end...

NEW: SRT VIPER GEN 5 - GEN 4 RACE HEADERS BBG STYLE (Teaser Photos)

That is no doubt a LOT of money for headers. That said, if they truly provide an 85hp/80+tq increase over stock, then the cost is totally justified. Now, if they only yield (for some reason) 35rwhp like the rest of the header brands, I know I personally won't be happy and doubtful he'll sell...

IN/KY VCA Meeting at NOON EST on Saturday November 9, 2013..Lincoln Square Restaurant

Re: IN/KY VCA Meeting at NOON EST on Saturday November 9, 2013..Lincoln Square Restau I'm going to try and make it, though the weather isn't exactly Viper friendly. I'll likely come in the Vipers AWD little brother.

    Photoshoot of GenIV

Beautiful car and excellent setup. Can you comment on your experience with the 3.55's? I'm sure it is much better for the track but curious if you feel it was the right choice for the street. I feel the car is undergeared stock and plan on this upgrade in the near future. Mine is an '09...

NEW: SRT VIPER GEN 5 - GEN 4 RACE HEADERS BBG STYLE (Teaser Photos)

He recommended 1 7/8" primaries, so that is the plan. The real issue is finding out which intake should be used, ported Gen IV vs Gen V. I believe there is someone who is dynoing a Gen V this weekend, so we will have an idea what it's worth over a stock Gen IV. He made some baseline pulls...

NEW: SRT VIPER GEN 5 - GEN 4 RACE HEADERS BBG STYLE (Teaser Photos)

I'm working with Toddy to get a set of the "shorty" versions to put on my ACR. I'm hoping that these will be available by the end of the year to allow time for installation and I hope to have dyno numbers in early spring. I'd love to see 630-640rwhp with just intake, full exhaust, pcm then...

Gen V Composite Intake Manifold on a Gen IV

I think that's what we are all waiting for. I'm tempted to buy both just to know. I'm a firm believer in composite intakes from a heatsoak standpoint. On the street the Gen V would probably make more power even if the dyno shows otherwise but won't know until tested.

    Side by Side Photos - Gen 5 & C7

Agreed, the hood to front bumper alignment on the Viper isn't anywhere close to as good as the Vette's panel gaps up front. That said, the Viper looks much cooler to me. The real question, is what is the Stingray widebody Z0/ZR setups going to look like? I bet awesome, especially lowered an...

    My New Forgeline Wheels

The black wheels look great and I like the centerlock with the anodized red accent. The design, stepped lip, and curvature of the spokes, however, isn't the most attractive but if you like them, thats all that matters. I think a set of black concave 19/20 ADV.1's would look killer also!

Gen IV Viper gone - but Mods are for sale !

Does it matter if the PCM is for a convertible or coupe or ACR? I was under the assumption that there was only 1 Gen IV PCM. I'm interested in the PCM if it will work on a Gen IV coupe/ACR.
