Rebate on ge 5 coming this week

I think a 0 percent @ 72 months, like Chevy will move them but I doubt that will happen.

    A DEAL I just couldn't turn down.

Awesome deal! Looks outstanding with stripes against the gunmetal!

Rebate on ge 5 coming this week

Based on the last rebates, how does the rebate deal work, and what's the bottom line on prices, assuming this is not an April Fool's joke?:D

    Comp Blue Yes or No

Looks too subdued for a mean Viper.

    stryker green on the ground

I don't like all the attention it would bring when you drive one, but I definitley love the color! I've owned two green Cuda's back in the 70's. It looks awesoome! (Must stop drooling!;)

sad news...viper plant shuttered until end June.

As a current Corvette owner, and aspiring Viper owner, I think that thread is exactly what SRT needs to look at! SRT hit the nail on the head with the TA short of the ECM being easily modified. Hot rodders in general want the American muscle that is easily modified to their performance and...

Nervous about giving dealer my trade-in before new TA arrives...thoughts?

Sounds like a bad deal! Dealer get's paid up front with no risk, and you get your new car at his terms. Does the dealer take immediate title & do you have a release of liability? If someone test drives your trade in and has an accident, or otherwise damages the car, is this now the dealer's...

AMAZING PRICES on new Gen V

I don't think a leak of a 2015 refresh is going to help either. Those 2013's (which I'm interested in) will quickly become 2 year old inventory if not gone by the fall, imo. Autotrader shows 285 - 2013's still out there...

AMAZING PRICES on new Gen V

Yeah, I saw these as well! This last one here is my style. How soon before they get to 90K?:D

AMAZING PRICES on new Gen V

Not amazing, but nice deal at Fresno CDJR, an Orange TA for $113,865 (GG & Destination included)! So 6,615 off of MSRP is pretty good for a TA.:)

    I've already suggested that!

AMAZING PRICES on new Gen V

You apparently know more than the Chief Engineer for Corvette, and you must know everything about the "mule" to make your assumptions. Tadge Jeuchter said it's the fastest, most track capable Corvette, and that it beat the ZR1's track record in it's first outing. That's the bottom line Peter...

AMAZING PRICES on new Gen V

Honesty, I don't know, but I do know they did not make any major changes to the C6 ZR1 drivetrain and the Michelin cup tires are what they've been using at least since 2012, which would make the C7 Z06 performance even more significant. It is very doubtful that GM would use anything less than...

AMAZING PRICES on new Gen V

"The upcoming Z06 will never ever outperform the ZR1, it will be lucky to outperform the last Z06." Your statement! Now did it outperform the ZR1 in it's very first outing or not? Whatever configuration, it did outperform the ZR1, just like the TA outperformed the ZR1 at L.S. No excuses!

AMAZING PRICES on new Gen V

OK, you agree with Peter there may be some question about the "Mule" C7Z06 legitimately beating the C6 ZR1's record at Milford, and which Peter claims, no way can beat the previous generation C6 ZR1, but you want one? I guess slow is the new fast, lol!

AMAZING PRICES on new Gen V

"The upcoming Z06 will never ever outperform the ZR1, it will be lucky to outperform the last Z06." Your statement, and the C7Z06 already out performed the ZR1 by beating it's track record at Milford! You've been corrected!:)

AMAZING PRICES on new Gen V

PeterMJ, I know you can't let go, you've moved the ball so many times from your orignal contention that there is no way the C7Z06 can beat the C6ZR1, and turned it into a question of Tadge Jeuchter's credibility, tires, ethanol, Nurburgring, etc. What's next? Let's move on to the Vipers, and...

AMAZING PRICES on new Gen V

We were talking about the C7Z06 and the C6 ZR1, not the LT1 Stingray! Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think Tadge Juechter has endorsed ethanol for the Stingray. Also the LT4 may share the same architecture with the Stingray's LT1 but there also significant differences, which is why GM...

AMAZING PRICES on new Gen V

The area of contention was the C7 Z06 out performing the previous generation ZR1, not whether the Viper is a better car. I'm not going to question the veracity Chief Engineer Tadge Jeuchter at this point as he is intimately and thoroughly knowledgeable about both Corvettes, and his assertions...

AMAZING PRICES on new Gen V

Well we both agree on the Viper as our preference, now watch the 2nd video and Tadge explains the Nurburgring wet track scenario. Suffice to say, I believe him & you don't!

Man, can MB be any more conspicuous about putting a 911 style rear end on it!:omg: It used to be others copied the MB style.

AMAZING PRICES on new Gen V

Yeah, I'm gonna go with the Chief Engineer, preliminary tests, and conservative estimates which already eclipse the C6 ZR1. How much better it performs we'll have to see. Yeah there is some hype in a new car, no doubt, but the preliminary results and new technology (direct injection, newer...

AMAZING PRICES on new Gen V

I didn't think I was starting anything, just stating the obvious, and didn't want to make it a Corvette discussion on a Viper forum, but OK. The C7 Z06 has more torque (625hp/635tq) than the C6 ZR1 and undoubtedly will have equal to or more hp than the ZR1 when testing is complete. It has...
