Driveability issues with 70mm throttle bodies?
Just installed 70 mm ARP throttle bodies with a SCT tune. 713 lb.ft. of torque and 656 hp. All on a 2001 Hennessey venom 650 R. Heads and intake were ported by Hennessey, along with the headers and exhaust.- karnatzel7

Hennesseys Cars
Being the current owner of a 2001 Venom 650 R, I could only say the looks and cel phone videos being taken is crazy. The original owner flew down from Florida to see the dyno #s himself. 13 years later, in my hands, it produces 713 lb.ft. of torque and 656 hp at the flywheel with 70mm ARP...- karnatzel7

I should have never sold my gts
Know how you feel. Sold my '98 GTS 2 years ago and bought a supercharged C6 Corvette convertible. Made another spot available in my garage and just purchased a '01 Yellow Hennessey Venom Viper GTS 650R with all the aero kits, same as the Motor Trend Magazine car, only this car was owned by Joey...- karnatzel7

I let someone else take the hit on the big costs as well. I bought the car from Joey Arrington, who rebuilt the motor a la Nascar. In the 700hp mrange.- karnatzel7

650R Hennessey or Not???
Always loved the Aero look of the gen II GTS from Hennessey. Just purchased one from non other than Joey Arrington who reworked the motor his way. He was kinda worried about the radical cam in the 650R, so he put his twist on it himself. Can't wait for the snow to melt.- karnatzel7
