    i have a 04 convertible. it seems that i don't get the correct amount of oil installed as per the manual. Could someone with the same year measure the stick from the top where it mates to the tube to the end. Thanks!

    Has any reasonably talented owner gone to the trouble to dismantle the intake manifold, depressurize the injectors and other items in order to replace the wires? I haven't any experience with fuel injection but do have a shop manual. Thanks all.

    Good idea on the dipstick. Mine is 20 3/16 from tip to where it mates to the tube.

    I am also a new owner. Got a lot of questions but not this important. Drained oil in my 04 convertible. Only about 7.5 quarts drained. Filled it up and again only about 7 or so quarts filled it up to dipstick level. Obviously owner and also shop manual says 10 quarts. Crankcase is "level"...
