    Never mind, talked to Doug Levin who stated the fumes could have started a fire, said I should have removed the tank first and filled with water before working on it, so proceed at your own risk.

    BTW, the ACR parts are a pain. The BBS wheels, wheel center caps, Dynamic dampers, and belts are really hard to find and can be expensive. The regular GTS by comparison has much easier obtainable parts in these areas so that might be something to consider. As far as being a harsh ride mine...

    rear shock fork

    I sent a front and rear dynamic suspensions coilovers to Carl Haas for rebuild, it does not have the fork on the rear so they cannot put it on the shock dyno for testing. Was thinking of getting a junk standard rear damper from ebay and send it to them for testing.

    2002 ACR 4k miles / need new tires?

    This is why the Viper is said 'to kill you' because of old tires and not replacing them due to the high cost. It was theorized that paul walker died in a car with original nine year old tires when it slid off the pavement. Of course those tires would be great for doing donuts in a parking lot.
