    Serpentine belt?

I hate when it turns out I'm the problem. After trying numerous belts, I found one that fits. It's the K070776. What I discovered was that one rib on the 776 belt kept hanging up on the front of the A/C pulley, making it short. The OEM belt never hung, but the Dayco would hang...

    Serpentine belt?

Steve, That's a very kind offer. I'm getting a 5070788 belt in the morning. If that doesn't fit, I'll call. Not that I'm sure what I'll do if it doesn't fit...

    Serpentine belt?

Thanks for all your help Steve. xxxx776 is indeed what Gates and Dayco list for a '92 - '96 RT/10. But when I lever the idler over fully, it only clears 1/2 the pulley. It's not even close. I figure the stock belt had some stretch in it, but not several inches of stretch. I've checked...

    Serpentine belt?

I'm not sure why, but I'm still having issues finding a serpentine belt for my '96 RT/10 with A/C. The Mopar belt 53010282/7PK1967 is NLA. A Gates K070776 is supposed to work on a Gen I with A/C, but at 78.04 it’s way too short. What belt do I need?

    Serpentine belt?

Thanks. Component location differs on my '96. For instance, my idler is located where your alternator is.

    Serpentine belt?

Stock 96 RT/10 with air. Looking for an aftermarket serpentine drive belt. Anyone know a brand/part no? So far, the Continental belt from Rock Auto is too long. The Dayco from Advance Auto is too short. Surely the high $ MoPar belt isn't the only option?

Need soft top thumb screw. 1996 RT/10

Update: I made a replacement using Home Depot parts for $3.00. Works great, but does not match the stock knob. If you have a spare OEM knob, I'd like to buy it from you.

Greetings, New to the forum. Yesterday my bride and I closed the deal on a 1996 Dodge Viper RT/10. It replaces the '88 Carrera track car we sold recently. The Viper has 19.685 miles, and came with a Aeroform hardtop. I'm not to sure about the top. It rattles a lot. Perhaps it just...

FWIW, I bought the car yesterday, so I'm inventorying what's needed. Looks like it's an amp and a thumb screw for the top.
